“Tentacles? What are you talking about, Selena?” Hertha questioned.
“Oh, you naive woman, just let the grown-ups talk,” Selena replied.
“Shut up Selena! And why are you talking to me now?!” Careen said as her eyes frosted over into a knifelike glare.
“Just because I felt like it! Humph! You old hag!” Selena turned away and hid her face within Vincent’s cape.
“Selena! Is there a need to insult me this much?”
Selena did not respond, for only muffled giggles escaped from within.
“Selena! I am talking to you!”
Selena peeked her head out and glanced at Vincent with a serene smile, “Vincent! The weather sure is nice today!”
“You are blatantly ignoring me again!”
“So what if I am?”
“Argh! This is all your fault, Vincent!”
“Me? What did I do now?” Vincent asked.
“I don’t care, but it’s all your fault!”
“But…but Vincent did nothing to you!” Hertha said.
