After I found the ruins of the spire, I slowly began to set it back up, connecting it to the power lines that still ran under the city, much to my Fathers credit, he built for things to last, I mean the generators are still running, extracting power from the reactions created in the planet's core, tech he stole from Iokath no doubt. Once the power came on, various tribes near the spire came to investigate, those who I could turn to my cause became my missionaries and recruiters as well as protection for the spire.
Those who did not submit were turned into a lesson for those we had yet to invite, shackled and beaten into submission, they were used as manual labour, rebuilding sections of the city, making it habitable for those who followed me willingly, housing and food was a massive priority. Speaking of food, I myself went out into the wilds, hinting whatever beasts had claimed the planet since the fall of the empire, some I recognised, like the Rancors others I did not.
My favourite of the new creatures resembled a Bantha however it didn't have the fur that the Bantha had, making it look like a naked mole-rat, cute and cuddly. Under my orders, we began to domesticate the beasts, setting up farms and ranches just outside the ruins of the old city, the land we had reclaimed but not rebuilt.
On a planet-wide scale, we have yet to make a massive impact, even with my power, it will be hard to conquer over 12 million people divided into separate tribes and cultures. Even harder still considering I can't kill a lot of them as I will need the manpower to fuel the Empire's war machine in the coming years, I wonder if my father had these struggles when he first came to this planet?

5 years have passed since my last log into the Histories, these last five years have seen much progression and a lot of conflicts, we now control just over 3/4s of the world, unifying most of the tribes we have come across, bringing them back to the spire and modernising them. We have created an education system although it is heavily basic right now, we are still able to teach children and parents how to read and write, this in of itself will greatly improve us going forwards.
The military academy has also been set up, I managed to salvage an old fighter simulator from the days of the Eternal Empire and have begun mass training pilots as well as soldiers, arming and training them to use blasters. Although it took a long time for them to click with the more modern weapons, it has finally been done. I have taken my forces to minor skirmishes with the Empire, we are yet to lose one although we have barely scraped through a few encounters.s
This is vital as it will provide the generals and troops with combat experience with seasoned troops, drilling them for when we truly rebuild the empire. I should also note that I have stolen plans on how to build a modern spaceport as well as the needed people to make it, I hope to get this done in a few more years. I hope to have the planet completely secured by that time so we can begin to expand outwards, we are going to need a lot of resources to sustain our growth after all.

A good year for us and one worthy of being entered into the Histories, we have built our first capital ship, the shipyard was built three years ago, making a ship of this size in three years shows how dedicated my people are in reaching our goals. We have nearly built a second spaceport that will solely focus on producing fighters, I have heard rumours that the star forge still exists although it is in a ruined state, I will need to make this mine if I'm to continue to expand.
With access to space-faring ships, we have begun to expand our influence to all of the other planets in our system, setting up mining operations on some while making others Agri-worlds. It is a start, one that has taken far too long to do in my opinion.
Later on this year I plan to found the Imperial Council of Zakuul, advisors that will fill a council to provide me with the required information to make the correct decisions going forwards. How do I plan to keep them loyal you ask?
Well incentives for those that are, like increased pay, better healthcare and education for their children. You get the gist and by publically executing those that are not, I can sense when someone is telling me the truth through the force, an ability that is extremely rare, I only know of one other person with the said ability but she is long dead.
I also plan to fill these positions with a mix of force using people and those who can't use it, to solidify the population and make those without the force feel like they are represented too. There will be no elections for these positions as I will be appointing those I feel will excel in these roles.
"My lord, I have a report."
Turning away from the screen in front of me, I face Zana, a woman who is acting as a head intelligence officer at this moment in time. I found her beaten and barely hanging onto life 11 years ago, when I first arrived in the Spire, since then she has served.
She is 5ft 3in tall, dark blue hair with a massive scar across her face, determined is the best way to describe her, she knows everything and everyone within the Empire to a scary extent, her agents have also left the system in fighters, flying through whatever hyperlanes they can find, mapping them and returning to us.
"What have your agents found?"
Standing at attention she replied, " We have found a Race being massacred by the Empire, although the amount of Imperials is small they are fighting a force with primitive weapons, easily overthrowing them."
"Why do you deem this as important?"
She smiled and said," The race the Imps are fighting appear to be physically stronger than humans, they would make excellent enforcers for your army my lord, they would make even better Knights if they are force sensitive."
Dam she mentioned my weakness, while there are force sensitive people on Zakuul, their potential is weak, much weaker than it was, their bloodlines have become way too diluted compared to the old days. Don't get me wrong, they can be trained as Knights however unlike my Step-Mother, they will not become feared as the Knights of the Empire. The augments my Father used are lost, no trace of them anywhere on the planet.
Meaning I need to find other species to mix my peoples with, strengthening our bloodlines as well as creating both a short and long term fix to the issue.
"Name of the planet?"
A large grin appeared on her face, knowing she had successfully pulled me in, she gleefully said
"Jiroch-Reslia"
"Tell the task force to get ready, I will open a doorway to the planet shortly."
She nodded and left towards the barracks, I made an Astral clone of myself and left him sitting on the throne, just in case I needed to rapidly teleport back here. Taking off my royal attire, I put on my black and Gold battle robes, placing the hood over my head, I made my way towards the Barracks, looking forward to making an appearance in the Galaxy proper once more.
