Sand affinity?

4031 Present day;

A Young boy with Black hair could be seen sleeping at the end of the bus. "Clayton this is no time to day dream, get off the bus". The youth opened his black eyes and noticed that the bus had come to a halt. Today was a special day for Evergreen Middle School, because today is when they find out there affinity and hunt for monster.

At the age of 5 every child either commoner or noble is required to go to school to learn how to use and channel mana properly in preparations for the hunt. Clayton stepped out of the hover bus and looked at the bright sun, Every since 'THE ONE ABOVE' gave humanity a new life technology had upgraded.

"Wow he really had the balls to show his face here"

"Nelson is gonna beat the crap out of him"

"I wonder what type of affinity he gonna get"

"What are you saying his probably gonna get a common one"

Mockery and laughing were all i could here, but i have gotten used to there bickering. "Now now children quiet down, we shall now commence the affinity test" He then made a hand sign and a servet walked up to the stage and placed down the shiny silver ball on the table. "One by one you will all walk here and place your hand to find out your affinity, simple right? anyone want to go first?".

Everyone was excited and wanted to go first but before they could a soft feminine voice spoke up, her name was Lucy Winterstrom. She was a noble of one of the 4 big families famous for all of them having the rare ice affinity. When she spoke first none dared to speak as they watched silently as she went up the small stairs to the stage.

Lucy took a deep breathe and placed her hand on the silver orb, shortly after the orb spoke in a feminine voice, "Rare Ice affinity. 100% Rating". Silence. Then the place erupted.

"WOW SHE GOT 100% RATING!"

"WHAT DID YOU EXPECT THAT'S THE PRIDE OF OUR SCHOOL"

"MY SNOW QUEEN PLEASE ACCEPT MY FEELINGS"

"ASSWHOLE SHES MINE!"

"BACK OFF IM HER FUTURE HUSBAND!"

Meanwhile Lucy went off stage and went back to were she was previously. Alone. She was never the type to have friends and like to do things herself, i mean what do you expect from a noble? Anyways the instructor called out another person "Dale Long" A short skinny boy who seemed like he could be blow away from the wind nervously walked to the silver orb and placed his hand on it, "Legendary Creation Affinity, 30%"

Instead of happiness that was suppose to be shown on the boy face since he got a legendary affinity, it was only placed with sadness he was on the verge of crying. You might be thinking why? he had a legendary affinity? well since he was a legendary affinity creation it going to be hard to find and dont even mention try killing the beast. so those with legendary affinity have to be sadden over there terrible luck. Dale long walked down the stairs and went to sit inside the bus. Looks of pity were throw from all direction to him.

The same thing went on some people getting good affinity and affinity rating while some of the unlucky ones with legendary affinity had to go inside the bus in shame. Soon there was only 2 people, Clayton and his bully Nelson. "Nelson Brock please come up" The Handsome blonde young man stood and walked arrogantly to the stage holding a charming smile that would make any girl fall in love with him at first sight.

He placed his hand on the silver orb with a wide grin on his face expecting to get a good affinity, "Rare Illusion affinity, 98% Rating". The grin on his face grew even wider, Nelson was the young master of a minor noble family know for there affinity of Illusion and there booming business called Go fighter online. A popular vr game used to help Mix-breed get a better hold on there abilities.

Nelson walked down and shot a wink at Lucy who totally ignored him, While he was walking his eyes locked on Clayton and he spoke with a light chuckle, "What you still decided to come after my warning, dont embarrass yourself". Keeping my clam i retorted "I see you still have not stop your barking like the dogs on the street". Hearing this Nelson felt his dignity crushed, He looked Clayton in the eye and spoke in aggited voice "After the hunt, heck if you can even survive the hunt ill make sure to break every bone in your body in the duel assessment." he said and walked off.

Hearing this Clayton was not the least bit worried, he did not know why but his gut feeling was telling him that today was going to be a great day. "Clayton Collins, Please come up." Hearing my name I stood up and step by step I made it to the silver ball. I slowly out my hand on the ball and shortly after it spoke, "Rare Sand Affinity, 96% Rating".
