Chapter Three

Snow was in the bathroom with two pill bottles on the sink and a water bottle. She was taking her meds but couldn't find the other one. Only to remember leaving it on the kitchen counter nexted to the rice cooker he mother bought six weeks ago. She washed her face and tried it with some paper towels she stuffed her pill bottles back into her backpack. And grabbed the water bottle throwing it away in the trash can she headed out of the bathroom to lunch. On her way she bumped into someone dropping her phone which was in her hand. "Sorry I was just headed to my locker to get my lunch and I wasn't. Looking where I was going and bumped into you" the person said. Snow nodded and bends down picking up her phone looking back up at the black haired girl. She was wearing a light blue NASA sweat shirt and black pants black and white vans. Black glasses and black backpack another nerd Snow didn't like the word but hey I guess it was what she was. Her black wavy hair was getting in her face so she took out a black scrunchy from her back pocket and tied her hair up in a pony tail. " I-it's ok I w-was the one w-who should of b-been m-more careful" Snow stuttered attempting to walk away. Only to be stoped by the girl she hand her hand on Snow's wrist her hand was smooth and soft like a baby's hand. Snow turned around and grabbed the girl's hand taking it away from her wrist. The girl frowned and looked down a little sad. "My name's Alana for your information and I... can see that your new here want to be friends" she said now fiddling with her fingers. Snow's eyes widen it was the first time someone had asked her to be friend's. She was hesitant for a minute but nodded after a while. Alana smiled happily and grabbed Snow's hand dragging her to the cafeteria they had lunch together. Snow wasn't really hungry but she didn't want to get scolded by her mother so she ate some of her salad. "Is that all your going to eat you know that's technically starving yourself" Alana said analyzing Snow's half eaten salad. She nodded a yes and opened the water bottle sitting nexted to her phone. Taking a sip of it the whole cafeteria suddenly went quiet Snow closed her water bottle and turned around to look at what was wrong. She quickly turned around when she saw the brunette boy and his friends. "There the bad boys of the school also football players the one in the front is practically there leader Royce Stone he's the captain. Of the football team and the star quarterback he's the ex boyfriend of the head cheerleader the rest of them well. Pretty unknown to me I haven't been at this school long to know them too well" Alana explained taking another bite of her tuna packed sandwich. She nodded and looked down only for her head to pop back up when a chair was pulled out right nexted to her. Alana froze when all five boys sat down at there table Royce sat nexted to Snow as she looked around at the boys. "What like what you see" Royce asked smirking at his friends who smirked with him. Snow shook her head and started packing up her things Alana started doing the same. There was no way they were going to stay there with them. Royce grabbed onto Snow's wrist and pulled her back down making her land on his lap. Snow started freaking out she didn't know what to do she quickly got off his lap. Royce got up and walked towards her he pulled her close to him and leaned in to her ear. "What were you doing in the back of the school yesterday" he asked. She shook her head aggressively she was just there to get some peace and quiet and to be alone. Was there something wrong it's not like he owned the place or anything who was he to even ask her such a question. "Fine whatever you say but get this your mine now got that" he spoke his cold breath on his earlobe made her shiver down the spine. Nodding her head he let her go as she walked out of the cafeteria clutching the strap of her backpack. She went to her last classes of the day feeling devastated she didn't want to get involved with Royce. After her last period science she was heading home before she could walk out the door she got a call from her mom. " Hello mom ... what's wrong". "Hello honey I'm sorry ok I made dinner it's in the fridge your sister id at her nanny I have a late shift" her mom explained. Snow answered with a ok before hanging up she stuffed her phone in the pocket of her hoodie and proceeded to walk out of the classroom. As she walked to the front door she saw Royce with his hands in his pants pocket and his feet crossed as he leaned against the door. Snow turned around ready to make her way to the back exit door but froze. "If you walk away now I'll make your life a living hell" he yelled after her. It already was making it worse wasn't a problem for her she walked away not caring about anything Royce had said to her. She headed to the cafe where she worked part time she's been working there all summer long. She opened the door and walked inside walked over to the little door. She walked right through it and went to the back to her locker putting her stuff inside and changing her clothes. She went back to the front and walked up to her so called friend Abby. "Hey Abby I'll take over now" she said putting her hand on her shoulder. Abby turned to her and nodded. "Thanks I really need a break" Abby said smiling and walking off. Snow stood in the front ready to take some orders two girls walked in ready to make an order. "Hello welcome to Blue Moon cafe what can I get for you today" Snow said with a genial smile on her face. "I'll take a cinnamon roll and a vanilla carmel macchiato and she'll take a blueberry muffin with a iced americano" she said tapping on the counter. Snow nodded typing in what she said and giving the order to Sander. Work went smoothly and she got her pay check today not like she was going to spend it anyways.
