Vampire

Elsewhere, Hitomi wandered in search of a sign.

A sign that didn't matter much, but this sign was alluring and annoying in her way nonetheless.

She unexpectedly and almost by chance she met a vampire.

Night had fallen quickly without her noticing, no matter how dark the night was, she was a cat girl and the night is her best company, she would embarrass herself if due to these unexpected circumstances the task of she could not be fulfilled.

But... normally those streetlights should work, right?

Hitomi, throughout the day I explore at least half of Japan, that was her mission, that and hit anything dangerous or disgusting, or both combined, she is an assassin and these tasks are as easy as breathing.

The other half of Japan would be explored by her sister, who by the way, did not send messages again after meeting a dragon.

Elsewhere, Natsumi was trying to convince her new "servant" named Thoru that she, in fact, didn't need a servant.

But that would be a problem for another time, involving other dragons.

Hitomi learned a lot about Japan in a short time, and in her opinion a problem as simple as a broken or unusable streetlight would have been solved in a few minutes, one person was in charge of solving those problems.

But there was no one to come and fix the streetlights.

Actually, there was no one.

In the distance Hitomi could see a single lamp in perfect condition.

Precisely the dying sign that bothered her so much was in that direction, that damned sign that meant only one thing: a woman more beautiful than her.

Hitomi walked slowly without a care in the world.

She humming a melody that in general terms or by urban belief temporarily increased luck.

And as she walked, she reviewed her map.

A map in her head of course.

Many circles enclosed certain specific places, some letters like "M"-"B"-"G", were inside the circles as a reference mark.

This was not her task, but her Lord would be very grateful.

He could even congratulate her and maybe he could…

And while she was thinking that...

"Hear me", [A/N: Here she should speak in an almost forgotten old-fashioned tone]

???

"Listen to me... you, yes, that one, who is there... you hooded, look at me"

Normally Hitomi would ignore anyone, no... normally no person could see her...

Her thoughts were cut off, and she stared at the figure lying on the ground.

She, a vampire.

Under the light of the only streetlight, in a pool of what would be her own blood there was a blonde woman.

"It must be… your privilege to help me."

Her blonde hair that touched her blood was not ruined in any way.

If you look closely at her face, you might see the most beautiful woman you will ever meet.

Well, she was... or at least she was the most beautiful woman in a time already forgotten and erased.

Despite having a cold gaze, her beautiful face was not ruined.

She was wearing an elegant dress, or what was left of it.

Maybe the dress was fancy some time ago but...

Shattered...

Torn...

There were more exact words to describe this.

"Can't you hear me? I am granting you the privilege to save my life."

The vampire looked at Hitomi's mask.

Hitomi just sighed… a look of pity formed under her mask.

To begin with, it was necessary to know the situation of the vampire.

Her right arm, around her elbow.

Her left arm, from her shoulder joint.

Each one had been… cut.

Her body was in a similar state below her torso.

Her right leg, from around her knee.

Her left leg, from the base of her thigh.

Each one had been…cut.

[Damn trouble!], Hitomi wanted to slap herself for getting close to this woman.

This woman had the word "trouble" carved strongly into her face.

Her reunion with her Lord would be a long time coming.

....

...

..

.

That same day in the afternoon.

"Ryou, help me tidy up the room," I looked at Yurine's sweaty body.

I only received her embarrassed and angry look

She blamed me for making her walk strangely.

We quickly finished cleaning everything up and went back to the living room.

"Hmm... they'll be late. Apparently they stayed with your fiancées for a few hours," Yurine rested her head on my shoulder as we watched the news.

Strange events happened abroad.

My sisters get along very well with my fiancees, apparently they are all childhood friends, and in theory Ryou also got along with them.

"Do you think those weird things mean anything..." Yurine asked me as she was focused on the screen.

A hand unconsciously lowered to her belly.

It seemed like a casual question but at the same time there was concern.

'Today a friend showed me a video of martial arts, do you want to try it?... she told me that you can destroy a car with a simple blow if you practice it for some time', I stood up and took Yurine's hand to help her.

"Pff... Ryou those things don't exist", Yurine smiled radiantly, it was better to see her smile than to worry about things that I would take care but she didn't know.

As for the martial arts I talked about, it was the simple method I came up with after collecting all kinds of information in various worlds.

It increased life expectancy and strengthened against all kinds of diseases naturally.

'We can try it', I started to show her each step, it wasn't a complicated combination of movements, even a child could learn it.

"..."

Notice the incredulous look on her face, even I didn't think it was possible to evolve like this.

"Okay, I guess", Yurine didn't seem to fully believe my words but still she tried, she didn't lose anything by doing it, Yurine's body showed her flexibility and she easily adapted.

The first step was done.
