You stomp the ground near the dog, and he hops to the side and runs a few feet away. Stopping, Toby turns and raises his head, cocking it to the side as if to say "what did you do that for?"

"Get out of here," you yell in a commanding tone and shoo the dog.

He runs back a few more feet then turns and opens his mouth as if to bark but lets out a whimper. You lift a stone and toss it at the dog. He scampers behind a bush and looks at you, tongue hanging out, and his body leaning forward.

"Go!" you yell and throw a rock, which rustles up the bush. Toby spins toward the forest and runs out of sight.
