Turning a corner, you are presented with a chamber where lies smaller coffins standing around the room. Cherubs and other angelic figures are painted on the walls, along with the images of children playing in fields. The ceiling has a mural of a beautiful sky with birds soaring under clouds, and embellished rays of the sun flowing from right to left. Iron sconces circle the walls, though none are lit nor have candles. In various portions of the room, clumps of fungus or some other life glows in the pale darkness. You recall several strains of bacteria that have been discovered in recent years that supposedly thrive underground and have florescent properties. Luckily, they are harmless to humans.

A deep shadow covers the room, and as you enter, a chill runs through your body.

"Can we just leave now?" Emma asks, her arms wrapped around her stomach and hunched over.
