You grab the handgun and load a clip, placing it on a holster clipper to your belt. You place two spare magazines in your pocket.

By the time you've grabbed a weapon, the voices in the front of the Cathedral have grown louder. Still, the entryway has been reinforced so well, the raiders will have much work to do to break in.

Inside the Sanctuary, Uncle Lou sits on the catwalk, his rifle across his lap. He looks bruised but otherwise, the fall did no severe damage. Mindy stands near the front door, behind a stone pillar with her MP5 in hand. Candace hangs on the right side of the Sanctuary against the wall furthest from the front doors, a 20-gauge shotgun held shakily in her hands. Finally, Heather is hugging the wall to the side of the front doors with a hunting rifle slung around her arm. Beside her, several fuel cannisters rest on the ground.

"We need someone on the wall, telling us what they're doing!" Mindy yells out.

"I'm… having trouble… breathing," Uncle Lou says. "Cracked ribs, I think."

No one is moving inside, despite Mindy's command. Having seen what happened to Uncle Lou, you can understand their reluctance to take that spot. Light breaks through the front of the Cathedral, and the sound of moving rubble grows louder. There are many places to find cover inside, but you see the clearest angle to shoot is near the front pillars next to Mindy. Unfortunately, that area is close to where raiders will pour into the room. You do feel that standing near the supply table would provide good line of sight to snipe raiders as they enter the now shattered main doorway. Otherwise, you consider using the fuel cannisters to create a fire to deter the bandits from entering.
