Next to you, a shotgun leans against a stone pillar, and you pick it up. The survivors part to each side as you step over the cold, marble floor. Badger's back is a perfect target, and the blast rips a wide hole along the top of his back. Out of the corner of your eye, you spot Emma flinch from the sound of the gun, and she looks away.

Badger's body collapses to the ground amid the numerous other dead bodies littering the Sanctuary.

You turn back to the group. Emma's hands cover her mouth. Mindy's face is blank and pale. Tom looks across the room, avoiding eye contact.

"Well, now that he's gone, let's discuss putting this place back together," you say. "Listen everyone, there is a ton of work to get the Cathedral back to a somewhat livable condition," you say.
