First, of course, was survival, and secondarily to coordinate a world-wide effort to eradicate the virus. We were surprised you finally made contact with us. Having no ability to send you an unencrypted message back, we sent teams to investigate. I apologize now for the show of force we used, but we did not anticipate a violent response to our arrival."

"A lot of good people died due to something you call 'miscommunication.'"

"Be that as it may, we regret the loss of life."

"And imprisoning me?"

"A safeguard until we figured out your motives."

The man rises, and the two guards open the double doors.

"What now?"

The man pauses and turns, his face featureless except for a raised eyebrow. "We cleared the area of zombies and opened all inaccessible areas. You are in control of the depot."

"No, I mean what are we supposed to do now. You killed over half our people and decimated our housing. In two days, you destroyed five years of work."

"Why, now you…," a buzzer interrupts the man, and one of the guards hands him a headset. The trio step out of the room and walk away, leaving you alone in the open cell.
