The red-haired woman needs to pay for what she's done. She threatened to kill you, your companions, and even Jaime. She deserves to die, and this is the perfect way to carry out her sentence.

The red-haired woman looks up, and the simple gesture almost makes her lose her balance. "Please, help me!"

The zombies crowd the platform directly beneath the scaffolding, swarming and pushing the loosely held structure to the point of collapse. You grab the lever leading to the scaffolding, unsure if this will even work.

The red-haired woman screams as the scaffolding shakes, then she stares into the rafters. "I know you're there. I know you can hear me. I'm sorry for shooting at you. It was wrong and stupid. I haven't been thinking straight. It's the apocalypse making me crazy. I promise if you get me out of this, I'm out of this school and gone for good."

You ignore her words and push the lever. It shifts but sticks halfway, and the scaffolding wobbles and loses several beams.

"Don't do this!" she pleads. "I can't die like this. It's not fair."

You shove the lever again, and the scaffolding jerks, sending another beam down to the mob of zombies.

"That's your answer, then?" she yells, her voice low and venomous. "You're a murderer, just like me. Dillan and the others are gonna kill you and all your friends. And when you die, I'll see you in hell!"

You throw your weight into the lever, and the scaffolding collapses. With a thunderous cry, the red-haired woman falls into the pack of zombies, who greedily pile on top of her, and her screams become loud and higher-pitched.

You wait no longer and climb the ladder as the bandit woman's shrieks die out, then you open the trap door to the ceiling, leading into darkness.
