You catch Reilly as he's walking from the campfire towards his mother on the eastern end of the clearing.

"Hey Reilly, got a second?"

The man snap-turns with the side of his mouth curling into a smile. "What's up?"

You uncover the bowl and show him the food inside.

"Is that extra?" he whispers and moves in close to block it.

"Yep. I brought you a second serving."

Reilly looks left and right. "Follow me." He leads you to where his mother is sitting and lifts a bowl. You scoop the spare portion onto his dish.

"What's going on over there?" Nora snaps.

"Nothing, Ma," Reilly says, and as you finish giving him the food, he shakes your hand. "I won't forget this."

"Enjoy," you say and cover the bowl. Walking back towards the campfire, you feel the warmth of the sun on your back and the play of a gentle breeze on your arms and legs.
