I'm with Luth on this one, Parker," Jaime says. "But we'll get you what you need. I promise."

Parker looks at his feet and slumps his shoulders. "How am I going to help the group if you don't even believe I can help myself?" Parker asks, before turning and walking back to his part of camp.

Jaime puts a hand on your shoulder and pats it twice. "It's for his own good," Jaime says. "Parker would just be at risk out there." He takes his hand off of you and leans back in his seat.

You slip the keys in the ignition. The engine roars to life. Jaime pulls out a map of the area and spreads it across the dashboard in front of him.

He points to a nearby town and indicates that's where you're headed. "Unfortunately, we're strapped for time," Jaime says. "We'll have time to search the grocery store, but that's about it if we want to get anything else done today. And there is a lot to do."

"We might want to grab some vitamins, since vitamin C is going to get harder to come by as time goes on." Jaime says.

You pull onto the highway. It's not quite a graveyard, but there are enough abandoned cars in the road to present obstacles. Even with a vehicle as bulky as a pickup truck, you drive masterfully. Since you don't have to worry about wrecking your vehicle, this gives you ample time to discuss whatever is on your mind.
