Lucidus Meets Amabilia

With the passage of time everything got to it's place once again. It was sunny day , a good day for hunting so Lucidus decided to go for hunting so he went to virtus's room to ask him to go to hunting together. But when he reached his room he saw him packing his bag as if he was going somewhere. he could not control his curiosity and asked him

Lucidus: ''Hey buddy going somewhere? What is all that packing for?''

Virtus:'' Yes buddy I am going with father to the near by village ( Duo Flumina= Two Rivers).''

Lucidus:'' Why?''

Virtus:'' Have you heard of Snake Gang?''

Lucidus:'' Yes.''

Virtus:'' Because of them they are recently causing a lot of in the Capital (Alis= Wings) because of their robberies .''

Lucidus:'' But it's a very large and established Gang.''

Virtus:'' Yes that's why we are not rushing to take any action against them and only going to warm them so they do not hurt the citizens or the villagers .''

Lucidus:'' If they still do not the robberies?''

Virtus:'' Then we will make a fool proof plan to hunt down the Gang .''

Lucidus:'' Can I also join you?''

Virtus:'' No Lucidus you are needed here more father and I can handle this.''

Lucidus:'' You never take me one such missions with you.'' He said frowning .

Virtus:'' Because you are Crown prince and your safety is important you should not bother yourself for such trivial things.''

Lucidus:'' Bullshit!''

VIrtus smiled and said '' Ok I will take you with me next time.''

Lucidus:'' Promise!'' he said while extending his little finger towards Virtus.

Virtus:'' Promise.''

While curling his little finger to Lucidus's little finger and both joined their thumbs and like this did their gesture of unbreakable promise.

Virtus:'' By the way why did you come here?''

Lucidus:'' i came here to ask you to go to hunting together since the weather was nice but seems like I have to go alone now ( while rolling his eyes)

Virtus laughed and said '' We will go after I return.''

Lucidus:'' Sure! But before that have a safe journey and come back without getting hurt beacuse I am not with you to protect you.'' And he started laughing.

Virtus:'' You think I am that weak that I can't even fight and anyone can hurt me!!! Come here fight me and I will tell you whose is stronger!''

Lucidus:'' Yes why not we can a match once you return moron.''

Virtus:'' Get ready to lose you punk.''

Lucidus:'' Whatever have a safe journey father and you both bye I am leaving for hunting.''

Virtus:'' Bye I am also leaving.''

They both hugged and left for their destinations.

Later in Jungle Lucidus was finding a target to shoot just when he felt some movement in the bushes in front of him and shot the arrow thinking it's a Deer but a voice of a girl's screaming came from the bushes he panicked and ran inside the bushes to see a beautiful girl same as his age with light brown eyes , red hair and pale skin holding her arm which was bleeding behind her was an arrow stuck in the tree. To his surprise it was his arrow which hit the girl and injured her

He held her arm to see the wound causing her to hiss in pain.

Lucidus:'' I'm Sorry , I didn't mean to shoot you I thought there was a deer in the bushes .''

Girl:'' It's ok but you should be careful what if your arrow hit someone where the injury could be fatal and they die.''

Lucidus:'' S..sorry I didn't think that much.''

Girl:'' Now will you keep staring at me or help me?''

Lucidus:'' Yeah yeah sure how can I help you?''

Girl:'' Do you have a knife or a dagger?''

Lucidus:'' Yes.''

Girl:'' Then give it to me.''

Lucidus handed her his dagger and she cut a piece of cloth from her dress and asked Lucidus to tie it for her around her arm. After bandaging her wound he asked her if she is ok.

Lucidus:'' Are you feeling ok?''

Girl:'' Yeah I am fine.''

Lucidus:'' By the way what were you doing here?''

Girl:'' I come here daily to collect valuable herbs that can be sold at good prices.''

Lucidus:'' Do you do it for a living?''

Girl:'' Yes.''

Lucidus :'' What about your parents?''

Girl:'' I am an orphan...''

Lucidus:'' Oh...I am sorry....''

Girl:'' No don't be I am used to it.'''

Lucidus:'' Where do you live?''

Girl:'' The near by village Sunflower village.''

Lucidus:'' Ohh...Where there are a lot of sunflower fields.''

Girl:'' Yes.''

conserned about her he asked her if she has a home.

Lucidus:'' So....do you have a home?, don't mind.''

Girl:'' yes I live in y parents house...I used to live with my grandmother she raised me but when i was 15 she also passed away....'''

Lucidus felt very bad listening to her and wanted to help her so he asked her

Lucidus:'' What can I do to make up for the wound I caused you?''

Girl:'' Oh there's no need to do that I am alright I don't need anything.''

Lucidus:'' But i feel guilty so I want to do something to make it up for .'''

Girl:'' I seriously don't need anything don't burden yourself .''

Lucidus:'' Now that you are not telling me I will decide it myself what to do to make up for it , Can you meet me at the same time here tomorrow ?''

Girl:'' Uh..ok.''

Lucidus:'' Great .''

The girl realized that she is getting late for her business

Girl:'' I should go now it's almost the time to sale these herbs .''

Lucidus:'' But you are injured how will you carry them, may I help you carry these ?''

Girl:'' No I don't like to trouble others and Poor people don't get bothered by such small injuries, if I won't earn then who will buy me the grocery so that I can cook and eat?''

Lucidus:'' i can do that for you .''

The girl laughed loudly and said '' Nice Joke!'''

Girl:'' Do you have a lot of money? Are you any rich family's son looking at your appearance you are handsome tall well built and wearing expensive clothes you do look like you are from a rich family.''

Lucidus while smiling said '' I am the Crown Prince thanks for the compliment.''

The girl jaw dropped and said '' Don't joke around you know stealing a Royal Identity is a punishable crime and you are out there telling people that you are Crown Prince .''

Lucidus looked down and smiled and said '' OK , See you tomorrow.''

Girl:'' OK good bye .''

And she left from there when suddenly Lucidus remembered that he don't know her name so he shouted as she was not gone so far away.

Lucidus:'' LISTEN! RED HAIR! I FORGOT TO ASK YOUR NAME ,WHAT'S YOUR NAME?''

She looked back and laughed and replied while shouting back '' AMABILIA , AND YOURS?''

Lucidus:'' LUCIDUS.''

Amabilia:'' NICE NAME SUITS YOU!''

Lucidus:'' Tha...THANK YOU , YOURS TOO!''

Amabilia:'' MY PLEASURE!''

and waved him good bye he replied with waving her back and couple of moments later she was far from his sight.

Lucidus also headed back to the Palace but throughout the journey he kept thinking about Amabilia. Lucidus reached Palace and was sitting in his room thinking about amabilia and smiling when Queen Ava brought him food and snapped him out of his thoughts.

Queen:'' Where are you lost ? Thinking about someone ?'''

Lucidus blushed and his head as a no in embarrassment.

Queen:'' Come on Lucidus I am your Mother I know you, Is she a girl?''

Lucidus raised his head up in shock and flustered said '' How did you know ?''

Queen:'' Looking at your age she must be a girl people at this age are attracted to each other don't be shy .''

Lucidus:'' No mother it's nothing like that we just met accidentally today...( Narrated her the whole story)''

Queen smiled and said '' Amabilia...nice name , now pause your thoughts and eat your food before it gets cold , OK.''

Lucidus nodded and she left.

Lucidus ate his food and thought about what to gift Amabilia. He was thinking hard and thought '' Wish Virtus was here he could have helped me....by the way I can't wait for his reaction when I will tell him about her... he will surely be shocked and happy .'' He was lost in his thoughts when suddenly a thing popped up in his head he noticed that the clothes she was wearing were old torn off and was not of low quality so he decided to gift her new dress. So he went to the markets biggest clothing shop and picked an expensive peach coloured floral printed silk dress . As he thought peach colour would suit her pale skin and red hair. He paid for the dress and came back to the Palace and got back to his daily work while waiting for Virtus to return .
