My Momo

So. It's been about three months and I can finally crawl, and ive picked up a fair bit of Japanese. It's amazing how quickly you pick up another language when it's all anyone speaks around you. In this time I've learned my name, Kaen, and made a bold guess: I was adopted by the Yaoyorozu's. I know it seems obvious in hindsight but to be fair I was just born back then, my eyes and ears weren't fully formed yet!

Oh well! Doesn't matter! I can crawl!

And there goes the camera flash. I swear to God! It might have been a bad idea to have a man who can be everywhere at once work for my family. Then again, if it weren't him, it would be Mom. Yes, I've accepted her as my mother, and her and Dad are totally the doting type. I still have know idea why Momo seemed to have confidence issues in the canon.

OH! Speaking of Momo! She was born about a week ago and she's adorable, you know in that ugly baby way, and I've decided, she is MY Momo, she will be the first one I recognize as pack. I've decided to fully embrace the wolf thing by the way, since God said it would happen why fight it. Anyway, Mom and Dad are Mom and Dad, I love them dearly but they are not yet pack. Maybe soon but not yet.

I've also decided to not speak proper words for a few more months, since I'm already pushing it with crawling so soon. I think that since my quirk is obviously very physical they'll chalk it up to that but talking at three months would be bullshit for someone without a mental quirk. Thank God I memorized rough start times for different baby activities like most babies can start to crawl at six months.

Sh!t. In the time I've been explaining this in my head, just in case some other-worldly being like the God who reincarnated me, or other exta-planer observers, Jin sent that picture to Mom and she came running in here.

"My little pup can crawl! I guess the doctor was right and his quirk enhances his strength! So, do you want to go see Momo?"

'Of Course!'

She, as a mother, is perceptive and likely saw the excitement in my eyes.

And just like that four years have passed, Mom and Dad have both earned their place in my pack, so has Jin-san. Oh, did I explain about Jin-san? Jin Bubaigawara, in another life, he would have been known as Twice, but in this one he is the trustworthy head butler of the Yaoyorozu house.

In these four years, it has been confirmed, with Momo there, that I am adopted, and have been given the green light to go after Momo. Why they brought that up at this stage, I have no idea. We're supposed to be way to young for something like that. I have never once been able to produce ice or flames, nor have I been able to shape shift, either, so I guess that's coming when my quirk fully awakens. As it turns out, most people with an animalistic quirk are born that way and have a secondary awakening where they unlock it's full potential, then they have to train it to at least some degree or else they'll have trouble keeping from acting only on instinct.

Today, Momo and I, accompanied by Jin-san, are going to a park in Musutafu where I hope to change fate a little bit. It's mission "Don't let Bakugo be an asshole". Honestly, I'm not too sure on how well this will work, after all we haven't interacted at all.

"We're here Kaen-sama, Momo-sama."

"Hasn't everyone in the family said not to be so formal around us, Jin-san?"

"Yes Kaen-sama."

"Then why aren't you?"

"Because Kaen-sama, I am a professional, and professionals have standards."

"I guess I'll give up for now. You want to go play Momo?"

"Yes!"

It's been an hour without either Bakugo or Midoriya showing up.

"Hey, Kaen doesn't he look strange?"

"Now that you mention it, he is walking a bit funny."

"I'm gonna go se if he's alright!"

"Momo, WAIT!"

Off she goes looks like I've got to chase her.

"Hey mister! Are you alright?"

'Is that a syringe?!' "Momo get away fom him! He's dangerous!"

After I shouted the he was dangerous he injected himself with the syringe, cementing in my mind that he held that monstrous drug, Trigger.

His fingernails lengthened into blades and he cut Momo across the chest. I'm running to her and all the people around us are screaming. Jin-san has already taken mister sword fingers down, but the damage has been done. Momo is bleeding out.

"Momo stay with me! Stay with me! MOMO!"

3rd person

As Kaen screamed out her name all eyes were on him, even Momo's, out of it as she was, when suddenly chains burst from his back spewing ice and fire while a green flame billowed in front of him over Momo her only thought was of how pretty the ice and fire coming from Kaen were and that she was feeling better surrounded by these warm green flames of his. Kaen always felt warm and comfy to her, and his tail always felt wonderfully fluffy. After a moment she realized that these flames were healing her, KAEN was healing her. HER Kaen. And he had just passed out on top of her after he saw she was healed. What should she do about this?

"Hello Kaen, it's been a while."

"Oh no, don't tell me I died while I was awakening my quirk?"

"No this was just a convenient time to tell yo a few things. You'll wake up just fine in a while."

"Great! I've actually really enjoyed my life so far. You said you had a few things to tell me?"

"Yes. Firstly, about Gleipnir, it will still have Enkidu levels of binding even though it's being used on mortals, but it wouldn't have made sense for it to appear out of portals around you so I decided to have it come out of your back like the Uzumaki chains, after some training though, you should be able to send them through fire and ice because of your innate control of all three. Of course you'll still have to train everything if you want to be combat ready."

"That makes sense and thanks for letting me know."

"Now for the part you won't like, some of your wishes didn't change anything major in your new world but some had a massive impact and well, I'm going to level with you here, don't tell her I said this but she can be a bitch sometimes. So to make up for holes in the worlds fate, she may have essentially transferred people from the multiverse to your world, altering their backgrounds to fit into it better. Some of them are to you benefit and some are definitely not. I'm not allowed to say who she brought because that would get me in real trouble with her, and if there's one person you don't intentionally piss off, it's fate."
