An unexpected day

Xiu Li was really happy to see her newborn little son.

"What should we name him," she asked.

"How about clawed?" Lio asked.

"My son is a snake, not a lion or tiger, " Venom said with a grin.

Xiu Li sighed. This was an everyday thing for her so she was not surprised.

" Why can't you guys stay calm for at least one day, " She asked with an irritated expression.

" I don't think that's going to happen in this life, " Luka said with a chuckle after cleaning the little boy.

" What do you think we should name him, " She asked him.

Luka handed the baby to his mother and said, " I don't know, what do you think the name should be? " He replied.

" I have a hundred names for him right now but I don't know which one will suit him, " She said with a smile.

" I'm sure whichever name you choose would be wonderful my love, " Luka said as he kissed her forehead.

Meanwhile, the snake Venom and the Lion Lio were having a WWE battle with each other on what the baby's name should be.

" Hey, aren't you supposed to be going back to your stupid lion kingdom by now, " Venom said with an evil smile?

" Xiu Li look he's trying to send me home with this weak and injured body in this forest full of dangers! " He said acting weak.

Venom looked at Lio with an angry face as he said this.

" Stop fighting you two you'll wake the poor thing up! " Xiu Li said with anger.

The two beasts looked at each other with anger and turned back.

" Hey, Xiu Li why don't you make me your spouse? I can help you take care of your son, " Lio said having some hope.

Venom and Luka looked at Lio with the stare of death as he said this.

" Xiu Li does not need you, She only needs the two of us! " Luka screamed.

" Yea we are enough to take care of Xiu Li and our son! " Venom said.

The baby snake started crying hearing the three beasts shouting.

" Be quiet you three you made little Victor cry!" Said Xiu Li with an annoyed look.

" Victor? " Venom exclaimed.

" Yes, I decided to name our son Victor, " She said.

" If that's alright with you, " She continued.

" Of course, that's a very handsome name, " Venom said with excitement.

" Victor is a very nice name, " Said Luka with a bright smile on his face. Just as they had started to express their happiness something unexpected happened. An earthquake struck that area.

" Oh no, it's an earthquake save Xiu Li and the baby! " Luka shouted.

But before they could do anything a huge rock fell on Xiu Li and killed her.

A few moments later Xiu Li opened her eyes and found herself in her bedroom, the place she had last been before entering the beast world.

" Oh my God, I'm alive! " She shouted as she rubbed her face in disbelief.

" Wait if I'm alive and in my bedroom, that means all the happiness I had experienced was all a freaking dream? " She said in an upset tone.

" This means that Venom, Luka, Lio and my son Victor were all just the part of my dream that I was having?! " She said sobbing and crying.

" I wish that dream would last forever, " She said as she rubbed her tears.

Suddenly she realised that she had gotten fired from her job and had to search for a new job. She quickly cleaned herself and left off to search for a new job. She was really busy for the next few days, She applied for a job in many places but failed to succeed.

Just as she thought that her life was going to go downhill a small ray of hope opened for her. She got an opportunity to interview as an assistant for the CEO of the very prestigious company run by the Songs.

Young master Luka Song had taken over the family business as his father had met his end. As the only heir of the Songs, he was to take over the family business.

" I know I might fail this one too but I can at least give it a shot. " Xiu Li said to herself.

She knocked at the CEO's office asking permission to enter. The door automatically opened itself and she entered the office.

Xiu Li was very shocked when she saw the CEO. She could not believe herself. The person sitting right in front of her was none other than Luka!

Mr Song, she said in shock. Although he looked like Luka he did not know who Xiu Li was.

" You must be the one who came for the interview of my assistant, " He said in a gentle voice.

" I've already read your resume and am quite impressed with it, " He continued.

" I don't need any other information about you so you may go home now, we'll call you if you are hired, " He said.

Xiu Li shook her head and left for home still in disbelief at the matter that the CEO of the Song cooperation looked exactly like her lover from her dream Luka. Not only that but his name was also the same.

" Oh my God, what type of situation have you put me in? " She said as she was still in disbelief.

She said to herself that she must only be overthinking stuff and what she saw was just her imagination.

No matter how hard she tried she could not take Mr Song's face off her mind.

It was already 11: 36 PM at night so she laid down on her bed and fell asleep. The next day she woke up as she got a call from the Song cooperation. She had been selected as the new assistant for the CEO. She was very happy she quickly got dressed and got off to work.

" It's a new start for me today I'm going to try my level best to do my best, " She said to herself.

She reached the CEO's office and took a deep breath before she knocked on the door.
