Zion was never to sleep again, but Castellian sank into a long, coma-like sleep. There was no strength, no magic it could absorb to recover. It had to recover on its own, being a sacred beast helped it a lot.

A few days later, it was already able to get some fresh air and start looking for food.

There was no living thing, plant, animal or creature in the ruined city, everything was in the ground, including food.

Castellian devoured some roots that it found delicious thanks to its hunger and that fortunately for it was nourishing.

Zion, on the other hand, was recharging himself as best he could with the life energy of his beast.
