Life got boring for Zander. It was the same routine day in and day out. Get a call, transport their a$s to the ER, and then go home and play RPGs. No wife, no life. That was, until one fateful call. 

The call wasn’t so normal after all. It had all the appearances of a normal call. “Medic 13, it’s your regular. Sarah Mantis, age 55. She’s complaining of heart palpitations with shortness of breath. The address is 2334 SW Glendale CT.” 

“This is Medic 13, we copy. Put us in route please”.

What he found would change his life forever.

My Medical System

All three fall out on top of each other in a tangle of limbs as they fall into a crator. Zander is on the bottom with both women on top of him.

Both women MOAN in pain.

Jessee is all contorted with her head down near his graon.

Searra is one arm through Jessee's arm and her feet on Zanders mouth and nose with her body in an odd angle away from both of them.

Zander grabs her feet and moves them, taking a deep BREATH.

Looking around, Zander can just make out the edge of the crator. The whole place is dark.

Searra panics at the darkness while Jessee just lays unmoving. In her panic she kicks Zander in the face.

Zander grabs her and calms her down. All three get in a sitting up position. Zander speaks first. "This is not good but it's not bad either. Searra, you can't see in the dark can you?" He holds out his hand to her.
