Life got boring for Zander. It was the same routine day in and day out. Get a call, transport their a$s to the ER, and then go home and play RPGs. No wife, no life. That was, until one fateful call. 

The call wasn’t so normal after all. It had all the appearances of a normal call. “Medic 13, it’s your regular. Sarah Mantis, age 55. She’s complaining of heart palpitations with shortness of breath. The address is 2334 SW Glendale CT.” 

“This is Medic 13, we copy. Put us in route please”.

Zander's hand is on the portal getting ready to go through when all of the Elders walk into the vault.

Elder Five speaks up. "The portal is active again. This means we can resume exploring other worlds like before when we had gods and they didn't forsake us. Let's build the other statue and not the one of Elder Fours daughter so big." He looks over at the others.

They all vote yes with their hands raised up.

Zander grabs Searra close and hugs her bye and a kiss on her cheeks. Stepping back, he grabs both Renea and Toshs hands walking through the portal.

Zander and the girls stumble out of the portal and over a dead body that is charred black. Laser fire and explosives can be heard all around.

Zander not wasting time, takes both Renea and Tosh to the inside of a burned out building. In a whisper, "Fuck, fuck, FUCK! I Already lived through this once." Zander takes a few calming breaths.
