Lied ran searched around the Main District for some time, menu in hand. The menu was undeniable proof that Letha was nearby, but where exactly did she go? Lied was sure he should have seen her somewhere.
Lied eventually left the Main District, leaving the noisy and crowded place behind. He looked into the sky before staring at the moon.
Perhaps he could use magic to try and find where Letha was. He walked as he started thinking through the spells he memorised. Normally, he had a book that kept records of spells he had discovered and learnt, but without the book, his options were limited.
Lied patted his back, no feeling of a bag anywhere. He tried remembering where he had left his bag, and the most obvious answer seemed to be back in that city. The bag most likely got crushed along with the wall when the monster attacked, meaning his book was left in rubble.
Lied pulled out a white stone from his pocket. He would usually keep a few stones somewhere just in case.
