~Babil, 6115 a.d. Day 170~
Lied watched as the light in his hand dimmed out and extinguished. He clutched the Magic Stone that hung around his neck like a necklace. He lost the feeling of being able to control his Mana, leaving him completely powerless.
Hilda glanced back when she noticed the lack of light.
The only light source came from the windows along the hallway they were walking along. The sun was starting to rise. Lied moved closer to the window to bask himself in the sunlight, his semi-transparent hand beginning to regain colour.
They decided to rest there for a bit.
"We've been here for a bit," Lied commented.
They severely underestimated themselves. They had some food and water they had gathered from the city where Lied awoke. It had only been a couple of days but Lied already felt as if they were running dry.
Hilda pulled out some dried meat and passed it to Lied. Lied refused it.
"You have to eat," Hilda insisted.
