The library is just up ahead, and I can see players and NPC's alike entering and exiting. Libraries are excellent places to learn information about the area you're in and can give clues to interesting quests and unique dungeons. Sarah Relor is the woman I'm after. She's a researcher of goblin species and is an expert in her field of study. Not to mention she's a high-level Ice mage. I remember her being around level 48 when the game first launched. NPC's level up to, as time goes on, they grow stronger just like us players.
The stairs leading into the library are ornate and clean. Made completely out of marble. Once inside, I look at the huge bookshelves and towering collections. There are multiple levels, and I can see so many players and NPCs doing their own research to see where they can go for grinding. Sarah Relor is going to be on the fourth floor in a private section. Hopefully, She'll let me in. I pray she doesn't have a mind-reading skill, but what I know about her lore states that one isn't known. It could've never been discovered. I need her to get access to the Greedy Goblins.
I climb the staircase up to the third floor. There is a separate staircase leading to the fourth that'll have a door at the top of it. I traverse the circular catwalk with an open view of the library to my left and bookshelves filled with books to my right. It's a giant library. Not all the information in here is about Kedwein. Libraries vary slightly between locations. Subtle differences that set them apart. Sometimes it's size, and others, it's the books that are available in the library you're in. Kedwein has a great selection of local monsters and their locations. Hence why so many are here.
The staircase leading to the fourth floor is within view, and I slowly make my way towards it. I climb the steps, and I see the door at the top of the staircase. Once at the top, I gently knock on it, but there is no response. I expected this. The only way to get Sarah to open the door and talk is to annoy her enough to come and open it. I knock on the door hard and make sure it's continuous. "I'm not going anywhere until you speak with me, Ms. Relor!" I shout from the otherside of the door, and I don't think it'll be much longer now.
The stomping of feet can be heard from the otherside of the door, and it's thrown open from the other side. "What! What's so important that you're causing such a damn ruckus!" Sarah makes it a point to get her annoyance across when this happens. "You better thank your lucky stars that my baby didn't wake up!" Another interesting thing about Sarah Relor is she's a new mother, at this point in time. The father is a Knight. I think his name is Klein... Something... He's famous in this area for hunting Goblins and their subspecies and cousins.
I look her in the eyes and think of my words carefully. There is a quick way for me to get the quest that takes me to the Greedy Goblins Dungeon. "How long has he been gone in the new dungeon you discovered?" The look on her face goes from anger to pure confusion. "Your baby daddy isn't going come back alive in time. Not without help." Sarah never saw Klein again after she gave him the information about the Greedy Goblins. It was later found out in the first ten days of the game. There was a chance to save him. I can if she tells me.
She leans against the doorframe and places her hand on her forehead. She's 34 at the time, and she looks around 27. Klein is much younger than she is. He's 23. Their chemistry resulted in a casual physical relationship that produced a baby. She loves him, but he died. I can change that. "How do you know... We haven't told anyone..." That isn't something she should be concerned about right now. I cross my arms, and she sees the serious look on my face. She steps aside and invites me in. I haven't gotten the quest yet, but It's almost guaranteed.
