Getting out of Libertas was more needed than I thought it'd be. I spent multiple days inside, and hardcore players go on for weeks or months. "In other news, Libertas has had such a successful launch. It's broken the record for most games sold in the opening week of a VRMMORPG." The gentle tone of the news reporter fills my home.

She's one of my favorites cause her tone is pleasing to the ears, and she doesn't give me a headache listening to her for a long time. Most reporters' voices are shrill, but not hers. She's perfect for the morning segment. "Hundreds of Millions of players are trading real-world money for in-game items." That's not uncommon. Most wouldn't have the needed in-game money.

Some prefer to trade with real money, and it's really down to the person who's trading. "This has caused a small hit on the economy of other games, and the US government has been pondering for a long time whether they should make it illegal." Control freaks, not like anything will stop them. Protesters, riots, anything... The government will do what it wants in the end.

My father used to say that I should never trust the government, and he'd want me to make sure that I take care of mom and sister after he was gone. I've kept one of those promises, but I don't think it's the one he wanted me to keep the most. "There have also been rumors that Broken Skull has the first Exotic class holder in Libertas..." Now that's something I remember.

Broken Skull is going to become more powerful and richer as time goes on. They thrive the most from Libertas, and one of the reasons is the strength of their members. "Many players and guilds are questioning when the developers are going to officially release a list of anonymous players and their class grades." Ahh, I remember this fondly. Devin didn't have to deal with this.

After the World Lore Tab becomes available, the devs will release a document on the forum. All high-graded classes discovered will be disclosed. Not any actual information like the name of the class or the player, just the grade. That's still a week and a half away from now. That's going to be a major change to the timeline. People will know that someone like me exists.

It's a little concerning... You can't help worrying that your information will get out somehow, but Libertas has security that's never been seen before. No one has ever had their information leaked. The system won't give my real identity to the devs either. It's in terms of service as prevention against identity theft and leaks. Enforced by the US government, they're not completely corrupt.

The screen changes and shows some players lining up at gaming pod stores. "The gaming pod market is going through a boom thanks to Libertas, and players everywhere are upgrading to better technology." I've already got the best one on the market, no need for me to stand in a line. Speaking of things that have changed.

Finding out who murdered me... The only gap in my memory... I can't remember anything about the identity of who it was... It's there, but I can't see it... It's like having a piece of popcorn in your teeth but can't get out no matter what you try. "There has also been strange reports of rising activities from the Church of Light Mother Gleawern." My attention is pulled from my maddening thoughts.

The Church of Light Mother Gleawern is incredibly important in Libertas, and if they're moving or doing something, everyone should pay attention. There are already players out there that know who to look at and who to follow in the NPC scene. The Church of Light Mother Gleawern is the 2nd most powerful church aligned with the light.

There are many churches, dark, neutral, and light. Among the entire collection of churches out there, it ranks around 6th at this point in time. The Darkness has a church, but since The Darkness doesn't communicate as the other church deities do, no one really follows it. The few that do are not known to many.

It's ranked the lowest in follower count and influence, and it doesn't surprise me a bit. When Devin revealed himself, The Darkness Church became the strongest followed church. It attracted millions of NPCs thanks to its neutral stance. "Some are speculating that a powerful boss in the northern part of the Termal Empire thanks to this..." I wouldn't know, this didn't happen in my old life.

Meaning only one thing, it's a consequence of one of my choices... Affects on the timeline are starting to show themselves...

The Darkness is considered neutral but is of the greatest power. All organizations of Good, Neutral, and Evil will not disrespect you openly.

Your mind is impenetrable to mental attacks and readings. All people who try to gaze into your mind will have to fight the Darkness to keep their sanity.

[Dark Vision]

You can see perfectly in total and complete darkness.

Lyatt Scott is the only person in all of Libertas to have a Mythical Grade Class. The Darkness Incarnate is a class of extreme power and potential, the strongest there is. As an Incarnate, Lyatt Scott is essentially the Darkness given form. He isn't evil, but he's not good either. The Darkness is the Darkness. It just is.

Lyatt Scott is the first player to clear an Uncommon Grade dungeon solo.

Lyatt Scott is the first player to clear Rare Grade Greedy Goblins Dungeon and do it solo.

Lyatt Scott is the first player to clear Rare Grade dungeon The Crystalline Caves of Domeir and do it solo.
