Merchant

Synnove and Ivar always spent their time mostly outside. The only time they came to the house was whenever they had dinner. So it was mostly Aragon and Ragna. Rhaet also had his meetings in the large hall. Aragon was being pampered by both his aunt and Ragna. He missed his grandma and how she prepared everything daily for him, he sorta liked being treated in the same way by both of them. And as he stayed most of his time in the house, right now he was learning many things that he didn't get to know before.

As he walked in, he saw Ragna coming out of a room that they used for baths. It had a wooden tub in it.

And she had a white cloth wrapped around her underarms, covering her breasts, that came down just above the knees. Her wet hair was clinging to her shoulders.

Aragon looked at her and looked down.

"I will come at another time." He said that and left the room.

Ragna called raised her hand, calling him but he was already out of the room.

"When will this boy stop feeling shy?"

She sighed.

Aragon wasn't good at dealing with women. As he spent most of his time with his grandma, he didn't yet quite know his way around women.

Rhaet was in the meeting hall, and beside him were two other members. It has been a while since the three of them gathered.

While the three men were talking, they heard a knock on the door.

A man entered the hall with another man behind him. The one on the back was well dressed, wearing a thick fur coat that ended above his knee over a shirt and trousers. His clothing seemed very different from what this tribe's people wore. And it was skillfully woven. He had a mustache and was clean-shaven. His hair was also not long and combed properly and he wore a cloth-type hat on his head.

As soon as he entered the hall, he came forward and greeted Rhaet.

"How have you been, Chieftain Solvwulf tribe?" His voice was soft and courteous, rather than loud and arrogant.

"I am well, as you can see." "I am happy to see your presence here."

"Not at all."

"It's the great chieftain of the Solvwulf tribe. Your name has already reached the lands past the mountains."

"I think now it can be said there is no tribe stronger and larger than the Solvwulf tribe."

"Ha ha, why don't you take a seat first?" Hearing him made Rhaet feel proud. He was smiling with an elated expression.

A seat was already arranged for him. Reinfride sat beside Rhaet, and a servant brought ale and placed it on the table.

Reinfride also brought them the ale they were drinking now. He was a merchant who traveled the world trading with people. He started trading with Rhaet two to three years ago.

He brought wheat and other food materials from Rhaet.

After getting to know Reinfride, Rhaet learned many things. Before his arrival, Rhaet was just like any other tribesman in these mountains. He lived as a barbarian, killing and taking from other tribes.

But Reinfride widened his vision, that they were things and places that he couldn't even imagine existed. Reinfride brought many things to Rhaet. He introduces them to a variety of weapons and how to prepare them. Their clothing, buildings, and lifestyle have changed completely.

Rhaet's greed for gold increased. He started producing more crops. He traded animal bones and rare woods with Reinfride's help.

Today, Reinfride has come with another purpose. As a man who travels around the world, he knows many people, and it includes important people too.
