Wedding?

After looking around, he looked at the hall and moved toward the entrance. He stepped through the entrance into a long hallway lined with tables and chairs. The entire hall consisted of members from both sides, and most of them were from Ditrayn, and they seemed to occupy most of the hall. As he entered, a hush fell upon the room as all eyes were now on him. The atmosphere in the hall was intense, with everyone talking and exchanging glances at the people of the village.

Mosce and his son led him in, and the two iron-suited men followed them in. He was escorted to the center of the hall, and all eyes were still on him as he slowly made his way through the crowd.

Mosce stopped in front of Rhaet and said, "This is our young master, Vaises, son of our lord."

"Young master, this man here is the chief Rhaet."

Mosce introduced them to each other. Rhaet's information was already known to Vaises, whereas Rhaet didn't realize about Vaises; it was his first encounter with him.

Finished with greetings, they were seated.

Vaises was given the seat in the middle. Mosce and Rhaet were seated on either side of him.

Rhaet was keeping a close eye on the newcomer. He had not expected that their lord would send his son instead of him. His anger was only fueled by the arrival of Vaises. and the number of soldiers he brought with him. It was evident that he had come with a company of soldiers. He was shocked and dismayed to find out that their lord had sent his son Vaises in his place, as it was an unexpected and unwelcome surprise as it meant that their lord was not interested in meeting with him. It was clear that they were showing him the power they had by bringing the such amount of soldiers.

Rhaet was looking straight, and he seemed to be lost in his own thoughts. He intended to kill all that belonged to Ditrayn by gathering them in the hall. That was the main reason he had agreed to move forward with the wedding. Now that they were gathered here and that too the number was not what he expected.

But he wasn't fazed by the number of soldiers gathered in and around the hall.

Soon the hall was filled with people, and most of them were the ones that came from Ditrayn. Those people had different clothing and were completely distinct from the village people.

With different thoughts in mind, both parties put a smile on their faces and chatted in the hall.

Rhaet was unusually calm today, as was Mosce. When those two were present, they would stop talking, but today, neither of them didn't open their mouth for even a second.

As time passed, Ragna walked into the hall with Synnove. They both walked to the little stage and sat beside Rhaet.

A few minutes later after the arrival of Ragna, Katheryn walked in, but she didn't come alone. A bunch followed her into the hall. Behind her, were members of the Solvwulf tribe. All of them had weapons in their hands. She walked in with the members following her.

As she walked in with the members and their weapons in hand, those from the Ditrayn had confused looks on their faces. Why would they hold weapons in hand?
