Heading to the town

She told him that his father was doing all this to toughen him up and prepare him for the responsibilities of being a leader. Vaises felt conflicted. Did his father really think that way? However, he also didn't want to disappoint his father or appear weak in his eyes.

 

Vaises nodded, keeping his thoughts to himself. Seeing her, he could never say anything to her. She always supported him and never stopped him from doing what he wanted all the time.

 

She stood up and approached him. Then she caressed his face and said, "Don't worry too much about it."

 

"Now go on and bring Aragon to the castle's entrance." The men should be ready; wait for me there."

 

Vaises smiled and left the room.

 

Then he walked towards Aragon's room. Then he thought inwardly, 'Why does my father insist that Aragon should go with me? I need to stop thinking about Aragon and see what I should do now.'
