The battle of Sword might - 5

Without hesitation, Azrael rushed toward Aragon, his speed even greater than before. His sword became a blur, moving so quickly it seemed to transcend the very concept of distance. The air distorted around him as his blade cut through space, ignoring the gap between himself and his opponent. He was determined to overwhelm Aragon with a strike so fast that it seemed impossible to counter.

But as Azrael's sword closed in, something unexpected happened.

The whisp-like traces of crimson energy that surrounded Aragon's sword reacted once again.

They flared up, cutting through the empty space with unnatural precision, distorting the very fabric of the battlefield.

The distance that Azrael had so effortlessly ignored moments before was no longer his to command.

Aragon's energy severed that gap, forcing Azrael's attack to travel the full length from point A to point B—the distance could no longer be bypassed.
