Chapter 8: Lost Everything

Arc:The Return.

 It was dark,I remember this day as it was yesterday, after this tiring day I just wanted to get home and have a good night's sleep. Well, that's what I thought.  

Jason had reached home at 8:oo o'clock . His house was located at the end of the street .

Jason enters :"I'm back."

Jason talks to himself worried :"Ha?!.....The door is open?!"

He holds the handle to close the door , he touches a liquid that was on the handle .Jason looked at the door opening his eyes from the shock. There were blood stains all over the door it seemed like someone had committed a murder.

Jason cries out of anxiety while he is entering the living room:"Mom..Dad ?"

He steps his feet in the living room trying to speak :"Mo...Mom...Dad?"

Jason remains frozen in his place after seeing that horrific , terrifying scene .His mother was covered with blood because of the deep wound on her neck and her veins were totally cut off . Jason runs towards his mother who had already lost her life.

Jason on his knees and his tears falling profusely:"This...this can't be ...mom don't make fun of me ,you are alive, you are breathing right, please open your eyes , you are fine nothing happened to you, don't leave me "

"Jason ...Jason, run save yourself,run away quickly."

Jason follows the voice , he realized that it was his father calling him. His father was also stabbed in his stomach, leaning on the wall.

Jason shouts:"No...I'll not go and leave you here. If I run you're coming with me and mom too."

Mr Erlick:"Listen to me..Your mother fought to save you,she loves you so much even though she doesn't show it."

Jason screams and cries loudly :"I KNOW THAT!.....So stop saying these shits and let us take mom and run together."

Jason's father:"I thought that I could protect you,I thought that I could live in peace , I wanted a better life for all of us but I was wrong."

He said as his breaths hardly , crawling on his stomach and all the blood was on the floor as he was painting the ground trying to reach Jason and his wife.As soon as he gets to them ,he grabs Jason's neck ,leaned his forehead to Jason's forehead and both closed their eyes.

(20 years ago in an area close to the capital Zentral)

The Commader:"My Soldiers ,fight..fight to liberate the kingdom." 

In that 7 months ,where the sky was completely black and most of the soldiers who were fighting the Red-eyes  were exterminated ,the magic users were losing the battle.

A soldier screams in the middle of the battle :"Not now, don't give up yet."

One of the legendary guards:"Hey, dragon protector, flexibility is injured and there is not much soldiers left,what are your orders?"

Dragon protector while fighting a Redeye and his body was all wounded:"Wait a moment ,let me finish this bozo here first."

Roy Erlick:"Is it right to keep your son with me , this child has taken half of your power ,he is already 5 years old, just tell him what he really is ."

The Dragon protector:"Nina, open a portal for me , get Roy and my son  into the real world."

Nina:"Understood."

Roy:"What..wait, I can't do It , don't give me the responsibility of your son."

The Dragon Protecter:"Please, you're the only one who I can trust for taking care of him.Take care of him until he becomes a young man then explain everything to him."

Roy:"Damn, at least give him a name his 5 now, he can't remain without a name."

The Dragon protector:"Jason Roy Erlick, that's his name."

Jason opens his eyes and put his back on the wall . His mother was lying on the ground ,beside him was his father who took his last breath and died.

Jason as he looks up and his eyes were shielded of tears:"Whatever  I sow , you are still my parents, I shall take revenge I promise, so rest in peace."

After these words he explodes , screams and cries madly in pain thinking what  a day where he lost everything.

Christen's apartment after 20 minutes ,8: 20 . A surprise was waiting for her and her family.

Laura, who is sitting next to her father:"Hang on Dad."

Christen's father was drunk and he received a punch on his face led him to lose consciousness.Christen was standing in front of Laura and her father with a wound on her arm as the blood  is dropping from It . 

Christine tries to stop the bleeding with the other hand:"Strange things keep on happening today?"

Laura:"Sister!"

Christene:"Don't worry, I'm fine."

Laura curiously:"It's not just that,you..you're talking, how this happened?!"

Christene:"I'll tell you after we get out of here."

"Yari..Yari, I really love seeing this kind of love ,the sisters love It inspire me to fight ."

A woman wearing a black coat spoke, standing in front of the apartment door with a fat man wearing the same black coat .

The woman:"OH, I hate to wait , fight If you want to get out . Believe me It is a service from us that we've offered you to use this knife beside you."

The fat man:"We asked you one question only,where is the bock."

Christene:"I told you ,I don't know."

The woman :"Alright, maybe another wound will make you talk."

She heads to her fast while she raises her hand and stretched her nails to become sharp as a fork.

Laura jumps holding the woman's arm:"STOP!"

The woman pushing Laura away:"Get off me, you little..."

Laura crashes into the wall and mad her hit her head.

The woman:"I didn't want it to end like this ,let's go Francesco."

She said as she opens a portal .Christene landed on her knees after being shocked by her sister's action seeing her on the ground. She spotted the knife , she tries to catch It hesitantly until she reached It.

Christene is talking to herself:"It isn't me....It isn't me who leaves her family suffers like that....I'll ..I will kill them both."
