356. New Power
The 4 young Mages below are stunned seeing Ben could injure Acnologia even if it's just a little. But they are even more surprised seeing such a strong attack could only damage Acnologia that much. It makes them wonder if they will be able to even put a scratch on Acnologia's body.
Suddenly, they feel the atmosphere change and they look at the source, Ben. He is releasing a lot of magic power from that thin body that was caused by his 22 days of fasting. Then they all see in amazement as his body starts to transform.
Ben's whole body is getting covered by golden scales now, including his face. But then his fingers turn into black claws before black armguards & footguards appear too. His blonde hair turns black from the base but becomes gold near the tips.
Then a pair of black draconic horns grow on his head and the color turns to gold on the top. After that, a pair of black feathery wings grown on golden wing arms also appear behind his back. Then a long draconic tail with black color above & gold cor below also appears.
After that, his fangs grow longer than his Dragon Force form. Then dark red flaming solar energy appears on the tips of his horns, wings, tail, hair, and at the base of his arm & foot guards. It also replaces his eyebrows as his eyes turn black with golden irises & red slit.
"What is that? That's very different from his Dragon Force," says Rogue.
"But I can still feel the Dragon energy from him," says Sting.
"There's also demonic energy coming from him," says Gray.
"What?!" says the others in surprise.
"Quorra, show my stats," says Ben with a low voice.

Ben's physical stats dropped a lot more than they should be because he starved for 22 days. His magic power increased a lot though, but it doesn't increase as much as he thought.

"My Magic Power has increased so much, but the boost of this Evil Sun Dragon God Force should be higher than this. Why is it only increased this much? It's not even twice my base power," says Ben.
[The Evil Dragon God lacrima still can't be used for extensive usage. It needs to be perfected to be used for the ultimate mode, but it still needs more magic power to form perfectly.]
Evil Dragon God lacrima is the one that Ben has worked on in the last 22 days. He was transforming the Dragon Seed that has been affected by Demon & God energy into a lacrima that he named Evil Dragon God lacrima because it contains his Sun Devil/Dragon/God Slayer magic.
The Evil Dragon God lacrima in his body has the form of a big seed with some swirling patterns around it. Its color is clear, but the patterns have red, gold, & black color. 3 crystal buds also appear on top with those 3 different colors which represent his 3 different magic.
This lacrima holds a lot of magic power, even more than what Ben has in his magic container. It's not a problem though because he made it right inside his body. If he made it outside, then his body won't be able to withstand it when he installed it.
Also, by creating it directly in his body, Ben also increases his magic power quality while also improving his physique to withstand so much magic power in his body. After this, it will be easier for him to increase his magic power because his magic container has improved.
But that's just the side-effect, the main reason was he made the lacrima using the seed to destroy the seed's effect forever. It was very risky because he could trigger the seed instead, that's why he was super careful when doing it. He could become either a Demon, a Dragon, or a God if he made mistakes.
Then, he was forced to stop the procedure before it truly completes. It might cause some problems, but he doesn't regret it because it was necessary for him to come out of his seclusion. Acnologia has appeared, so his new power will be useless if he didn't come out.
"How much does it need to be completed?" asks Ben.
[It needs to surpass 2 million magic points, and you've gathered 1,900,800 points, so you need 99,200 more. To gather that much with your previous absorption rate, you will need 27,55 hours to complete the procedure.]
"So I was close, huh? Will there be any problem?" asks Ben.
[Yes, there is a high chance that you'll transform into a Devil, a Dragon, or a God because of the use of an imperfect lacrima. The highest transformation possibility is a Dragon because your Dragon Slayer Magic is the strongest right now.]
Ben sighs and says, "Sigh, fuck it then. I will protect my family even if it means I will stop being a human."
With such a resolution, Ben is ready to face Acnologia again. He can't hesitate at all when facing this guy or he won't have any chance at all.
"Now when I get this strong, I can finally judge his true power. He has around twice my magic power in this form. And he might have a technique to increase that already high magic power. The time for this battle is also not in my favor. Damn, what a drag," says Ben while getting into a stance.
It's night now, so Ben doesn't have his biggest source of magic power, sunlight. He can try to find other sources like fire, gravity, or even moonlight if needed, just like in the past when he was still weak. But they can't give him as much power as sunlight.
When he's thinking about that, Ben suddenly sees Acnologia gathers magic power in his mouth. Ben knows what Acnologia tries to do, so he also makes his move. He extends both of his hands to the front and gathers his magic power.
When Acnologia shoots his Dragon's Roar, Ben also chants his spell. "5 Levels Ultimate Reflector!"
5 silver magic circles appear in front of Ben. The magic circles are big and they get bigger as they get closer to Ben. Acnologia's attack hits the 1st magic circle and destroys it in a short time. Then it hits the 2nd and destroys it too, but it takes a longer time than the 1st one.
It then destroys the 3rd & 4th, but with a longer time than before. Then when it hits the 5th layer, it gets reflected to the sky. The 1st to 4th layer reflectors couldn't reflect the Dragon's Roar, but luckily the 5th layer could reflect it.
"That was close," says Ben before he flashes toward Acnologia.
Ben arrives on Acnologia's left face in an instant and it makes the Black Dragon widens his eyes. Ben's right fist has been covered with black-gold-red solar energy. Then he sends a very powerful punch at Acnologia's left face.
*BOOM*
A massive explosion happens on Acnologia's left face and it flings his head to the right quite far that even his body also gets pulled. Again, Ben pushed Acnologia, a feat he couldn't achieve in the past. He grins and gets ready to attack again, but he suddenly stops when he hears a voice.
"Finally, another Dragon Slayer who can reach this level of power."
Ben & the other Mages are surprised because the one who talks is Acnologia. They never heard this guy talk before, so they thought he would never say anything.
Acnologia looks at Ben and says, "I remember you now. The one who fought me a few years ago on that island. What an interesting growth rate and what an interesting aura. Unlike those Dragon Slayers, you have slain real Dragons, aren't you?"
"Yeah, and you are next on my list," says Ben calmly.
"How amusing, you have slain real Dragons in the current era. Hahaha, so there are still Dragons left in this world. Tell me where they are!" says Acnologia while releasing his massive magic power that overwhelms the 4 Mages below.
"Don't ask me, I don't know where they are. But I know the one that is still alive right now," says Ben.
"Where?" asks Acnologia.
"In front of me. You look Dragon enough for me, you piece of shit," says Ben.
Acnologia doesn't take that happily and he says, "I will kill you and the other Dragon Slayers. No Dragons can be left alive, including those who hold their power."
