This was the biggest key point, for the user to transfer qi, they had to hold the handle. There was a link with the forged blade and the hilt, this connection allowed for the entire sword to work.
Ivor added the hilt and blade together.

The A mind of True blacksmith teaches six principles to others to show a mind they need to at least have to be a true blacksmith.

Ivor this time grabbed a spear he created which is a mid-beyond-grade weapon. The whirl of fire has three stages in the technique: one The spear must feel like an arm, flow like an arm, move like an arm and this took Ivor 2 weeks to learn.
The second stage was to make the spear become like a whirlpool, have enough force to drag the opponent towards you. This stage can kill the opponent once the tip pierces through the opponent. Ivor practiced an extra month and managed to learn it as well.
The Third Stage was to use the whirlpool around you to attract fire qi and use it to ignite a fire, to ignite the fire the user must use their fire qi as lore around the spear, then once the fire qi is thick enough it will create a whirlpool of fire and burn the opponent even if they haven't been stabbed.
This technique took Ivor six months to learn, his comprehension abilities are not very good, but his determination is what helps him.

Ivor took the book and read through scholar's control, this is a very complex skill to learn but it would help his blacksmithing tremendously. There are four stages in this technique, One is to learn to manipulate Qi, Ivor had learned this while learning engraving, which led him to the second stage, which is more complex, it is to learn divine sense and most cultivators would not learn it until reaching the Golden sense stage in golden core realm.
Ivor had it lucky although it is just a high-spirit grade technique, it guided the cultivator on how to learn a fragment of the divine sense, it was not strong but the cultivator would be able to sense the situation inside the object and this took Ivor a year and a half to learn.
Then Ivor started to learn the third stage Guidance, which taught Ivor to use his divine sense to guide the Qi, this sounds simple but it isn't. It needed a huge mental capacity and he needed to improve his divine sense to be able to guide key.
Before he didn't use divine sense to engrave the flow paths, he mostly estimated which is why he failed a lot and got used to hitting accurately.
Cultivation was patience and it took Ivor 3 years to learn the third stage of Scholar's control.
Next was the 4th stage, it wasn't as hard as the second and third. Ivor had to make qi solid, although this sounds difficult for a foundation stage since you need divine sense to manipulate qi to connect, the second and third stages allowed him to comprehend divine sense. It took Ivor less than a month to learn this technique completely.
