He looked surprise and from that moment I remember the past memories of Leah..

They were in a relationship before the accident happen..

Shookt!! I messed up again!!

But I'm not the original Leah and why the hell the author did not put a glimpse of leah and rowan story!

"What are you saying leah?" He sounds anxious.

"You're the commander in chief of the imperial knights at the same time you're the nephew of the duke whom I serve. I'm just a lowly maid it will tarnish your reputation if anyone see us."

He suddenly hug me tightly. I tried pushing him but he's stronger than me.

"Rowan what are you doing to Leah?"

Wait his voice sounds familiar? I push Rowan again when he loosen his hug.

I looked towards the person who calls Rowan.

"Duke Rearte, I'm jus-" Rowan stutter.

Duke?? Father of Anastacia. I remember in the story that the duke favors Leah more than Anastacia, because the duke is in love with the Leah's mother ever since they were young.

"Greetings to the duke" I said while bowing.

"Leah no need to be formal to me. I always think of you as my daughter. Rowan are you harassing Leah??" The duke looks at me like I'm his precious daughter.

"I already told you how much I love Leah."

*Slap*

I was surprised when the duke slap Rowan I don't remember reading this scene from the story.

" I heard enough! I already told you can fall in love with anyone except for Leah she's too precious to end up with someone like you."

Someone like Rowan? He's a good catch, but I never thought that the duke thinks lowly of Rowan.

Months passes after that incident I rearranged the important event in the story.

Today will be the first meeting of anastacia and carlise at the imperial princess birthday party.

The duke ask me to accompany his daughter which makes anastacia excited. However I'm quite scared because the imperial princess is obsess with Carlise. In the story the author describes the imperial princess as sweet and bubbly princess that everyone loves. Because of jealously she became notorious towards anastacia.

I remember how angry I am when the scenes are about the imperial princess that blond two face bitch!!

All I need to do today is to keep out the sight of the princess to Carlise, because that's the start of all.

"Leah" My mother calls me out holding a big box.

"Mother what is that?" She smiled at me sweetly.

"The duke said that you should wear this on imperial princess birthday" She laid the box on my bed and open it.

It was combination of red and black lace dress with small diamonds on the skirt part. It really looks expensive, I bet it was worth 5 years salary of a maid.

"Mother can you help me with these?"

Am I this beautiful? My skin outshines in this dress, even my silver hair and the color matches my red eyes.

I look exactly my mother except for my eyes but no wonder the duke treat me preciously.

"I think its time for me to give our family heirloom" She brings out the jewelry box, it was a pink diamond necklace but this kind of diamond is never produce in the empire.

"Its beautiful, but why do we have this as heirloom?"

But I never hear an answer from my mother, I never asked again maybe I'll ask the duke.

I saw anastacia waiting for me in the door. She was wearing purple ballgown, she's beautiful but the gown she's wearing is too simple for her. My dress is too grand if you're going to compare with her.

"I'm so excited leah this is our first time going to a party maybe will someone there" she smile and hug me.

When we arrive at the palace everyone is looking at us. Anastacia is popular among nobles since she's the only heir of Duke Rearte. Everyone gathers around her, I excuse myself and go to the nearest balcony.

*Sigh*

Third POV

As she looks at the sky, she did not notice that someone is looking at her.

"I hope anastacia and carlise meet without any hindrance" she mumbles.

"We meet again lady"

She flinched and look at her back.

"Oh sh-" She covers her mouth before she curse.

The man standing behind her is carlise and she wonders why he is here.

" What do you mean we met again?" She asked while keeping her distance from him.

He suddenly step forward and whisper in her ears.

"You shouldn't forget the day we met, because until now you're the one who's keeps running in my mind"

She shivers and she felt like all her blood drains. She just look at him curiously.
