New enemies made

"What happened?" Senile asks the remaining vampires who were still alive on the destroyed landscape.

"We won," grunted Enzo. "Reya killed the elder god with the sword of Acheron crafted by the goblins."

"Finally some good news. The other gods are having the living daylights kicked out of them. I see you guys didn't have much trouble..."

"We lost two members of our team, one of them being Exodus, my brother and the other being Knight Matthew, a Williams," Reya burst in anger, she had transformed into her vampiric nature out of rage.

"Sister... breathe," Ramul reminded the girl who noticed her changing appearance and recollected herself.

"Let's not forget that we're humans now with our bones broken beyond recognition since we lost our vampirism to the elder god," one of the Williams vampire moans from the ground with his body covered in his blood.

"I am so sorry to hear that..."

"We don't want to hear it," Reya continued still enraged. "We're done with our opponent, we can't risk anymore lives. We're leaving."

"What about us?" a Williams vampire asks.

"We're done creating vampires for the decade..."

"So you'll leave us here to die!" another Williams bursts in tears. "Please Reya, help us. We lost our eldest sibling just as you did and he died for you, for all of us."

Enzo looks at his siblings who at this point were too angry and sad to talk before walking to where the Williams lay, "I'm sorry Rebecca, but your journey as vampires has to come to an end."

"No..." she sobs but the Primordial was not having it.

"Maybe in another life we..."

"You bastard!" one of the Williams cries. "You're going to leave us here to die when we need you the most!"

Enzo's face fills with pain as he looks to the purple sky filled with lightning and fire from the ongoing battle, "At my current power and probably my siblings we cannot create new vampires and trying it would only cause us to kill you. Please you have to understand... "

"Enzo that's enough," her voice whispers in a low rumble. She walks up to her brother tapping his shoulder before looking at the almost dead creatures.

"Reya please..." Rebecca pleads, tears running down her cheeks. "We need you."

The Primordial squats to face her, "I'm sorry Rebecca, but we've lost the ability to create new vampires..."

"You haven't even tried..."

"It's like breathing, you don't need to pump air into your system before you know you don't have that ability any more."

"We can all feel it," Ramul joins his sister. "After that battle with Drake he did something to us which removed some of our vampiric abilities, one of them being the ability to create new vampires. Another hit from him and we could have all died."

"So what, you're just gonna leave us on this field?" a Williams vampire scoffed.

"On my way here I called a Xaj and a Vladian to help you out of this battle, they should be arriving here any minute now," Reya noted standing up. "We'll meet again that I promise you, but until then, goodbye."

The four Primordials drag themselves to the war god who embraces them one after another apologizing for their losses.

"We'll be out of action for awhile while we mourn the loss of Exodus," Enzo reasoned to which the god agrees.

"Take all the time you need," he nodded. "I and the fellow gods would take it from here."

They had another group embrace as a dragon roar is heard from a distance.

"They're here," Reya observed, moving out of the group to meet the dragon which levitated above the Williams family, giving the Xaj and the Vladian soldier atop the beast a chance to drop onto the ground.

"Take them to safety and heal their wounds," she said to the Xaj before kneeling to Rebecca. "I'll always love you like a sister, no matter what happens."

The two women stare at each other with teary eyes, falling into each others embrace with passion.

"And I will always love you," the girl replies back, broken at her new situation.

As the Xaj levitated them one by one to the back of the green footed dragon, the Vladian waves to the war god, "Make sure you all end this battle. We've lost enough warriors already."

"Will do," the god smiles back to which the Vladian nodded, jumping to the back of the beast with ease.

The Angus family watch the Williams being loaded onto the back of the beast as the dragon takes to the skies with a terrifying roar, heading back to its home away from the battleground.

"Well, that's our cue," sighed Ramul.

"We'll see you in another century Lord Senile," Enzo added.

"Take care of yourselves," the god smiled. "You're all you've got now."

The four vampires nod in agreement, blurring out of the field with the god jumping back into the portal to join the fight.

As he left, another portal was created with a woman stepping out of it. She had her whole body covered in a cloak so it was impossible to see who it was.

"Who is she?" I asked Callipso who shrugged with indifference.

The lady walked to the place where Exodus' arm had dropped and she picked it with reverence.

"This should do," was what I heard her say before she went back into her portal, leaving like she had never been there.

I tried to think hard on who she could actually be but decided against it. She wasn't my mission, my mission was to learn from Callipsos vision on how the elder gods had been defeated and learn from their battle incase I needed to face them again which I highly doubted would be possible since from the looks of it they had been defeated five thousand years before my time.

The vision blurs away from the field focusing on Zemeta and Lady Camilla who had the elder goddess Mindra as their opponent. Their battle was not going to be easy as they prepared themselves to lose everything including their lives if it meant killing the goddess and attaining victory.
