Chapter 16: Dread X captured??

"Why did you do that?" I asked in some what anger.

"I am sure you don't wanted to speak to the visitor like this, it's probably because you are angry" said AVA.

True I was definitely angry. I mean why wouldn't I be? I lost my parents, that too twice. I was having a mix of emotions- angry, fusterated and sad Sapphire.

But if it was Dread X in the open, night, wild, outdoors with these emotions, there'd be chaos. And somehow that's what the world wanted ofcourse.

It had been two days since I checked the newspaper, oh! no! not the white and morning but the black and night one. There had been nothing out of surprise for the past to days but today's blew my mind.

I was on headline of the Deadline newspaper. Well, that's not a surprise. Everytime I kill some big shots I am on the front page but this time not in the same way.

POLICE CLAIM TO HAVE CAUGHT DREAD X

Scotland police claim that they have caught Dread X (a night female assassin). They have given no evidence to prove their statement.

But the statement of the police seem to be going in right direction for the police as the police have stopped seeing any further kills from Dread X.

They seriously thought that I was that easy to catch more ever keep in jail is far beyond question. Were the police out of their minds to challenge me.

They are so dead!!

I went on the dark net but I could not leave a footprint on the web so needed a fake id. I opened the deadline news but the site needed a real I'd and could detect the fake ones.

I thought for a while. I needed a real I'd but can't create one cause they could easily trace it back to the server. But that didn't mean that I could not borrow one.

I had an idea but to execute it I needed some help. I exactly knew who I could go to. I might bring shiver to those who see me or hear my name but I made friends along the way too.

Friends as in for people who owed me their lives...

People like Mr Jae from who I used to buy my tools knew me in morning as well just like I knew their identities. They knew how powerful I was day or night so didn't bother me.

The only way to get to that person was with an appointment. I dialled and rang the number two times to it to be finally picked up at the third.

"Hello, how ca...?" said a female voice behind the phone.

"I need to talk to Reddit" I said using a voice changer.

"I am sorry, Master Redd.." replied that woman.

"I said I need to talk to Reddit" I said in a strong voice.

"But Madam, I said Master.." she answered back.

"Oh! you didn't hear, I want to speak with Reddit" I roared at her.

That woman handed the phone to a man whom she called Mr Wen. She mentioned that she is handing the phone over to Reddit's personal assistant.

"Mam like she said sir is busy you have to take an appointment as..." said Mr Wen.

"Perhaps I didn't make myself clear I want to speak with Reddit.. right now" I said demanding strongly.

I was fusterated. If I have to say one more time that I want to talk to that man, I would be more than happy to go their in person and kill all his staff.

But thankfully I heard his assistant hand over the phone to Reddit. He said that I sounded like I was going to kill him over the phone and that I didn't call him Master.

"Who has such nerve" said Reddit in a soft and calm voice as he picked up the phone. His voice was clear and strong but not powe

"..." Before he could say anything...

"I have the nerve to call you any way I want and if they had made me wait even a second longer, I have been there in person killing them." I said calmly but in a stiff manner.

I didn't use a voice changer with him as we had already met. He quickly knew who was talking and was left startled.

He quickly changed his tone. The calm in him had disappeared completely. Instead his voice was now more filled with anxiety and was more pleading.

"I..I am so..so sorry, ple..please forgive me" Reddit said.

All the staff around him were all left startled as well. They had never seen their Master so troubled and let alone he was saying sorry to that lady on the phone.

He hurriedly ordered his staff to save my number and never delay my calls...

"Stop, Reddit!" I said since I was fed up enough already.

"Calm down!" I added.

"Ok! it's just..the news and the police.." he said and was clearer than before.

"Save it! I am coming over tomorrow afternoon" I said.

As soon as I heard his ok I hung up. I got another call just after that it was Zander's.

He asked me how I. I said that I was fine and just needed rest. So, he let to it. I asked AVA who had come over earlier. It was...

I slept uneasy because when I was in that anger I completely forgot about what happened today. I remembered my dad's words which were left uncompleted.

I talked to AVA about all and somehow she understood. After clearing my mind I asked AVA to turn DND and told her not to disturb me till 5:30...

which was late than my usual timing.
