The night passes like usual, Xavier on the couch and me on the bad. I felt bad about sleeping on the bed. But Xavier never listens. I woke up to the alarm next morning, Xavier was already up. 


I got ready for office. When Xavier came into the room he asked, "Are you coming to work today?"


"Okay then, I have told the driver to drop you."


We went down for breakfast. Dad was ready for office too. Noah, worked from home, but he was coming along today with me. Mum and Gigi would be alone today.


"I'll miss you both at work" I said smiling.


"Oh really? You have your husband with you" Noah teased.


I gave him a angry look, teasing him back.


I and Noah got into the car after breakfast. Dad and Xavier had some work before going to the company.


I went to my office and checked the files that I was told to prepare. I had completed them but I had to check. They were okay.


I sat and made some presentations for upcoming meets. Xavier came just as I finished the last presentation. I went and brewed a coffee for him as I usually did. 


"Yes" came the voice from behind the screen.


I went near and placed the cup on his table"


"Sir, I forgot the schedule file on my desk. May I bring the file, sir?"


"Yes" Just I went was opening the door he spoke again.


"Okay" I said and went to get the files. 


I read out the schedule to Xavier and went back to work on my desk. An employee of our company came to me. He was new, and handsome. 


"Well, I am new here and don't know much about the company. It would be great if you could show me around"


I wasn't sure but I felt Xavier's eyes watching us.


Just got married and flirting with others already! I felt jealous for some reason. Not that I love her or anything. But she's my wife. MY wife. Mine.


I saw her talking happily to the new employee, Leo. And then going with him somewhere.


I went out to see where they went. And saw Anastasia showing him around the office. But Leo didn't seem like he was watching the office, he was watching my wife. Checking her out, he was practically drooling over what was mine.


"Miss. Anastasia, I need you in my office now" I said finally.


No one looked up, it's normal for me to call my assistant.


"Yes sir" she replied. She said something to Leo smiling and followed me.


Once in the office she asked, " How may I help you, si...Xavier?"


"You are my personal assistant, you don't need to show people around the office. I don't pay you for that"
