After we planned everything and discussed it over dinner with Dad and Noah, we went upstairs. I was quite excited to visit Xavier's beach house. I've never been to a beach house.


I remembered I had to wear the wedding ring, not wanting to fight with Xavier. I went to the drawer I put the ring in and opened it. I picked my platinum and diamond ring and wore it just as Xavier entered. His expressions smoothed. He seemed happy with something.


I went to sleep as soon as Xavier was finished with his daily reading. Him in casual with his reading glasses, was a very fairytale thing to see. I loved to see him reading.


The next morning I woke up late, I rushed down after I got ready and took a bread in my mouth (Mom and Gigi were shouting at me to take my breakfast slowly and properly and then go)  and got into the car already waiting. I finished the bread halfway.


I brewed coffee for Xavier as soon as I reached company and went to his office.


"No need to be sorry" he said and took the coffee and drank it.


I went out and sat at my desk. My phone rang.


It was mom, I hadn't talked to her since marriage. I missed her. I picked up the phone smiling.


"Anastasia, you're dad's had an attack. He's in the hospital. His condition isn't gettign better" tears started flooding my eyes.


I have to go. I have to go to my Pa .I went into Xavier's office without knocking. My makeup getting ruined. But I didn't care.


Xavier got worried seeing me in the condition.


"Xavi....xavier my dad has had a heart attack, his condition isn't good. I have to go" I said crying more.


We got into my car. I told the driver the hospitals address. Anastasia was crying hard. I pulled her to me. She held me and buried her head in my chest. Crying and crying.


"He'll be good in no time, don't worry, sweetheart" I said soothing her.


We reached the hospital and Anastasia ran to her father's room. But her father was in ICU, so she couldn't go in. She started sobbing again. Her mother was there too. She was crying. Celestia was a brave girl, she was trying to calm her mother.


I went to Anastasia and held her to me. She hugged me tightly. We sat there for hours before the nurse came out.


"Mrs. Harper, we'll have to perform the BYPASS SURGERY as Mr. Harper's condition isn't getting better"


"You do it" I said. It was the last thing we can do. I know he'll be better.


Anastasia looked at me with teary eyes. I gave her a calming expression and she buried her head in my neck again.


"Okay, you'll have to fill the forms for the surgery"


"Yes dear...I can.." she got up and went to the reception. Celestia followed.


They came back shortly. I went to call mother and dad. Anastasia went to get some food from the hospital canteen.


"Mom, Anastasia's dad had a heart attack...I'm in the hospital"


"No, they're gonna do the surgery now...you can visit later mom"
