The next day, when Xavier had been discharged from the hospital, we took him home to a very lovely atmosphere. Mom and Dad were beaming with joy. Noah had already brought a cake for his return.


After I laid him on the bed, I went and called Megan.


"I'm sorry, but Leo was really dangerous for me, Xavier AND you"


"I know...don't worry, I'm fine...and he deserved it...it's not like we were in a very serious relationship...Are you and Xavier okay" she was sad, but she knew the truth.


"Yeah...alright then....take care, meg"


"Bye bebe" I could sense smile in her voice.


I returned back to Xavier, who laid with his eyes opened.


"What?" I asked kissing his forehead and sitting down beside and and getting into the blanket.


"I felt like I would never get to meet you again, and that time I realized, I love you so so much more than I think...I couldn't even bear the thought of you being far from me"


"I'm here, love, and I will be for years, don't worry. I'm not leaving you anyways!" I smirked.


I laughed, trying to stop him. He stopped when my eyes were watering.


"Hmm...she said she didn't know he was planning this...and that he deserved it"


"Okay....but babe, please stay away from her for some time...she loved him and she may harm you for him"


"She may...please, babe. Do that much for me alright...you talk to her on phone...but not in person...don't tell her your location or anything."


"We're announcing our marriage tomorrow"


"Yes...I can't bear to keep it a secret anymore"


"I love you too" she said giving me a peck on my lips.


We had dinner, which was delicious pasta and bread. We told everyone we were announcing our marriage in public.


And everyone was extremely happy. Especially mom.


The next day, Xavier asked me to dress up. We were going to announce to the company first and then we had a live interview. 


When we reached the company hand in hand, everyone stared. And whispered. We told everyone we were married and were having a baby. They told us they were happy for us, and we promised them all a treat. 


"Good morning people! Today I Alex Martin is going to talk to Mr. and Mrs. Evans. Who kept their marriage a secret, but now have announced they're married. So everyone in the business world knows Mr. Xavier! And young girls too" he added in a teasing tone.


"Mrs. Evans claims to be Mr. Xavier's assistant before they got married, so tell u, how did you fall in love"


We told the people the actual story about our arranged marriage. When we were finished, the reporter said," See, not all arranged marriages end in sadness! Look at Mr. and Mrs. Evans here! So lovely they look together. Congratulations for the babies. And that's it people! I'll meet you all tomorrow!"


We went home and rested for sometime, before I returned to the company, kissing Anastasia goodbye.
