{A YEAR LATER}
"I can't believe we're graduating. It was only yesterday when Mother Estelle was whipping our butts for eavesdropping", Lucille yells.
"Ugh! Can you shut up? I'm trying to get some sleep here", Lucianna groggily says whiles stuffing her face in her pillow.
Unsatisfied at being ignored Lucille leaps from her bed onto Lucianna's bed sending the latter onto the cold floor. Lucianna glares at her friend from her position on the floor and gets up murmuring colorful words under her breath. She stalks towards their bathroom and slams the door in her friends face.
After the duo has gotten dressed they both head to the auditorium where the event was to take place. Lucille, as usual falls asleep immediately after the speeches begin placing a small smile on her friends face.
Like a psychic, she wakes immediately they begin to call up the graduates to hand them their certificates. She fumbles through her purse and takes her phone out, handing it to Lucianna and ordering her to take pictures of her as she collects her degree. Names get mentioned and soon she is called to the stage.
"Lucille Caudill", one professor calls.
Lucille sends her friend a reminder to take snapshots of her and gets on the stage. Lucianna as promised takes the shots but transfer it to her phone and deletes the one on Lucille's phone only to replace it with snapshots of her own face. As the airhead she can be sometimes, Lucille collects her phone back after flashing her a thankful smile without even cross checking.
"Stacie Deloria."
"Brittany Gordon."
"Lucianna Stone"
She gets up and walk onto the stage. Flashing somewhat of a smile as she gets blinded by the lights of many cameras and phones. After everyone of them has received their degree, the graduates gather up on the stage, take a few photos and then throw their caps into the air cheering at their success.
Families then gather around their newly graduated members cheering them on and congratulating them.
The two girls look around feeling dejected. Sure, some families stopped by to chitchat but it wasn't the same as compared to having real family members.
They celebrated it with an after party and soon goodbyes were said. Everyone left to find his way through life, make new acquaintances, experience downfalls and manage to get up because that's how life is.
But for the two Lucis, they stuck together, furthered their education to a higher level and managed to build their own company with Lucianna as the president and Lucille as the vice president. All was well until she was asked to plan the wedding of Isabella King.
Nothing could go wrong, right?
