Erin's panicked breaths became quicker and quicker with intermittent groaning. His body was heavy and sore, his lungs and heart felt like they had caught fire. the sweat leaking from his pores could fill a bucket. If not for the cool breeze of the early morning as well as the colour of his tracksuit, it would have clearly showed.
'guess I know which start to up first'
He paused, taking in deep breaths and supporting himself on the fence of a house.
'I didn't think the journey would be this tiresome since I train regularly but I guess this distance is going to be quite challenging and running here didn't help'
Erin ran for two reasons. one, to get to his destination faster and two, to test if he could level up for going past his limit. it didn't work however, he still had a lot to do. place more effort
'status'

' assign 4 stat points to stamina and 2 to agility'
a ding sound resonated in his head and so did the feeling of his exhaustion wearing off. He wanted to save the stat points for later in the testing grounds but he felt like this proportion was suitable. he shot forward, far faster than before, closing in on his destination. Some cars passed down the street and he encountered other runners but something caught his attention. A black car traversing down the road he was running, moving ominously slow. Approaching it quickly, he was only able to get a glance at the tinted windows. he could see the figure of a man and a light beside him (probably from a screen)but nothing else. Erin didn't pay much attention to it since his destination was already in sight. A fairly large, supermarket looking building a couple metres of on the other side of the road. He braced himself and bolted towards it, crossing the street and avoiding the incoming flow of cars.
' vilda'
' yes'
' how much closer are we'
' sorry, but the signal seems to be scrambled around this area. probably his doing. it will take some time'
the man sighed, resting his head on the palm of his hand' so much for excellent assistance'
'm--mhm...'
Already Infront of the shop, Erin stalled outside to recuperate and analyze the building as well. it was at least 2 stories high with several glass paned windows, showing of the various artifacts that it held. ordinarily this would have been stupid but the shop boasted a great defence. Never, ever being robbed. Erin winked at the barely visible camera hidden in one of the marble walled pillars supporting the building, noticing the two guards watching in the corner.
' so much security '. Erin smirked while entering through the frosted glass doors. He was there to buy a basic armour, cheap healing potions and a short sword. Necessary items for any newbie adventurer. Afterwards, he would check out the training grounds which was somewhat close. The doors slid open by themselves, allowing easy passage for Erin. the large hall filled with various artifacts, well lit up by three chandeliers of expensive looking origin. the walls were painted a subtle shade of cream which illuminated the room even more. the room was chilly, with several AC vents around, making Erin shiver slightly.
'after waiting for so long... I am here and with the perfect temperature.' Erin said sarcastically in his head. There were already a few people there, a few looked like newbies, wearing no armour and looking slightly confused. Others looked a bit up the ladder and were already prepared to go dungeon hunting.
' I have gotta catch up'
he sighed, turning of the ear pods and feeling his way into his pocket.
'hmm'
' shiit!'
