Chapter 22: Shalour City And Familiar Faces (Part 2)

At Shalour City:

Team Flare Grunt #1: "We found them...They are in Shalour City. "

Team Flare Grunt #2: "Should we let the boss know? There's more of them now."

Team Flare Grunt #3: "Affirmative. *Takes a picture* Let's show this to the boss."

At the Team Flare Headquarters:

Team Flare Grunt #4: "Sir. I'm here."

???: "Have you found them yet?"

Team Flare Grunt 4: "Indeed, sir. They are more than three."

???: "More than three?"

Team Flare Grunt #4: "You are correct. Here, this is the photo for proof."

*The grunt gives the boss the photo.*

???: "Hmm...Very well then, I don't want them on my way once our plan is complete. You understand?"

Team Flare Grunt #4: "Yes, sir."

Nashly POV:

I was happy to see my two cousins at the beginning but it turns out they won't come back home. As they tell me the truth, I realized that they have a rough life, living on their home for nothing but just work at home. I was just sitting there, eating because I was starving from traveling. Elizabeth and Tony were sitting on the same table as I am, looking at their Pokedex for some reason. Amy and Victor were standing there outside of the cafe, chatting with each other.

I stuff the food to my mouth, as I turned to look at their Pokemon, helping out a Heliolisk that I have accidentally touch my hand on the chest. A Gabite gave an ice pack to give it to an Heliolisk. I was very ashamed of myself as I carefully got off my chair when they walked towards them. The Braixen noticed me walking towards them, and pokes a Quilladin, Monferno, Dewott, and Frogadier's shoulder. The Quilladin and the Frogadier were shocked as they looked back to me. The Heliolisk has that scared glance on its face and tried to hide the Dewott and Monferno's back.

Nashly: "Hi...again."

Quilladin (Finn): "Oh...It's just you."

Heliolisk (Julian): "What do you want? Touch my chest again to see if it's real or not?!"

Gabite (Mateo): "Cause if you do, Julian will do it again this time."

Nashly: "No, it's not that. I just came here to...apologize for touching the bruise on that poor thing and maybe we could get to know each other. Please?"

They all stared directly at me, to see if I'm was lying, But to that point, I convinced them to trust me. They looked at each other, and they all agreed to trust me, which is a relief.

Frogadier (Geo): "Fine, we forgive you, but in one condition."

Nashly: "And what would that be?"

Frogadier (Geo): "If you ever hurt one of my friends, I will hurt you, even though you came all the way here without a partner of your own, just so you can see your two lost cousins."

Nashly: "How are you going hurt me? You're some source of animal. Frog like you can't hurt a human-like me."

Frogadier (Geo): *Summons Water Pulse* "How about now? I'm getting serious right now."

Nashly: *Sweating with fear* "Uh..."

Quilladin (Finn): "You really think we are animals?"

Braixen (Brittany): "We're not animals. We are some creatures called Pokemon."

Nashly: "I get it, I won't harm any of you. But other than that, can you please get that random power of yours away from me?"

The Frogadier releases Water Pulse to fainting away. I was scared that the frog would hurt me, but the good thing was I didn't get hurt. I put myself together and hopefully I can get to know them better.

Nashly: "So, what is your name? I didn't have a chance to hear them from all of you."

Frogadier (Geo): "I'm Geo, the Quilladin on the right is Finn."

Monferno (Stella): "My name is Stella, and the Dewott is Randy."

Dewott: " It's a pleasure to meet you."

Quilladin (Finn): "And the Braixen is Brittany, or should I say, Geo's girlfriend."

Nashly: "What?"

Braixen (Brittany): *Blushes* "Finn!"

Frogadier (Geo): *Blushes a little* "Really, Finn? Really?! You're putting up with that!"

Quilladin (Finn): "So, I can tell her whatever I feel like it. Plus, you and her are now dating."

Frogadier (Geo): "Anyways, my team is over there, giving Julian some ice pack."

Nashly: * Confused* "Who's Julian?"

Braixen (Brittany): "The one with the bruise."

Nashly: "Oh, my bad..."

Frogadier (Geo): "The Gabite is Mateo, Honedge is Jayden, Noibat is Vincent, and lastly the Ivysaur is Bullet."

Nashly: "Wow, I never saw any of these types of Pokemon. Wait, did you four, like, have a photo of your whole team, I'm curious."

Quilladin (Finn): "I actually have a photo of it."

Braixen (Brittany): "Mine too. But we'll let you see it."

As Brittany and Finn give the two photos of their team, Stella and Randy do the same and let me see it. Brittany, Finn, Stella, and Randy tell me their names, as I heard Elizabeth called out my name. "Nashly, are you done eating already?", she shouted, loud enough for me to hear. I handed the photos back to them and ran back to Elizabeth. I told her I was full and I noticed she put her hair up with a rudder band. Tony pays the bill already. The group was sent their Pokemon to their Pokeballs, expect their starters, and headed to the gate.

       We head back to Reflection Cave which was where this happens to Julian. The cave was quiet, and for so how, we heard someone having an argument. We all look around and see a boy and a girl having a fight who are clearly teenagers like me. I was shocked as I realized those two. One is my brother and the other was his girlfriend.

Elizabeth POV:

Bobby: "Who are you stalking at?!"

Team Flare Grunt #2: "We ain't tell you nothing!"

Team Flare Grunt #3: "And it's none of your business!"

Hannah: "Argh! Why do you keep saying that?!"

I was shocked and surprised by the fact the two were here. My cousin, Bobby, and his girlfriend, Hannah were here from Alola. I told Brittany to use Psybeam to attack the grunts. Brittany puts out her stick to aimed Psybeam and nearly hit one of the grunts. The grunts noticed and ran away like cowards. Bobby and Hannah turn around to notice me, wondering why they are both here in Kalos.

Elizabeth: "Long time no see, cousin."

Bobby: "Hey...Liz."

Hannah: "We never expect you to be here."

Elizabeth: "Oh, I was, for at least. Let me guess? You come here without a partner?"

Bobby: "No. Hannah and I have a partner."

Elizabeth: "Oh, that's great."

Victor: "Then why do you come all the way from Alola?"

Bobby: "It's a long story."

Hannah: "We have two reasons why we are here. One, we wanted to visit and see you because it's our break from our adventure. And two, as we got back from Kalos, your aunt or should say Bobby's mom, was worried about you, Tony, Nashly, and thought you wander off somewhere."

Tony: "Really?!"

Bobby: "Yes, really Tony! My mom was worried about you! So is you, Nashly, I'm very disappointed in you!"

Nashly: "Well, it's not my fault our aunt sent me outside, just to find Elizabeth and Tony!"

Bobby: "Our aunt did what?!"

Nashly: *Feared by her brother* "I'll explain that later..."

Hannah: "You know what? You, stay with me and your brother while they...Why are you guys are in the Reflection Cave?"

Darwin: "We're here to train before we headed to Shalour."

Hannah: "Yeah, like he said, as you explained everything that was happened as we are away."

Bobby told us all to train our Pokemon as he handled this with Nashly. Tony and I handed out the letter to show it to Bobby. Bobby was confused and read it. He went speechless as he was about to say something, but we wandered around to the cave, just to get trained. It was awkward for me that I didn't tell him that I'm one of Professor Sycamore's students.

Braixen (Brittany) POV:

        It was awkward, and to the point when I discovered my partner, Elizabeth has a big family. I've never imagined that until now. Geo was surprised to hear this happening back there. Finn was not so happy about this. Elizabeth apologizes for what we just witnessed. She told her that Bobby and Nashly didn't get along very much. I knew this isn't her fault or Tony.

       We ignored it so we all can focus on training. We get some people who wanted to challenge. It's been hours since we heard the others who are with Nashly. It looks like they are having trouble getting along. Finn was tired of training. I giggle at Finn, and he also does the same. Budo, Nate, and Logan were also tired, get so stressed out for the day while Amy and Serena were practicing batting with Victor.

Noibat (Nate): "What a day."

Pancham (Budo): "You tell me, Nate."

Raichu (Logan): "Man, training is a lot of work."

Braixen (Brittany): "I guess you guys are very lazy."

Pancham (Budo): "Oh shush, Brittany."

Braixen (Brittany): "It's true, Budo. You boys are always lazy. *Feels the shaking feeling around her* "Is it me or is it getting chilly here?"

Quilladin (Finn): "In the cave?"

Noibat (Nate): "Brittany's right. It is getting chilly."

Braixen (Brittany): "I'm gonna grab something from the bag."

        I went to Elizabeth's bag to grab a dark green sweater and a long-sleeve white shirt Geo gave me at the Lumiose City Boutique. I took off the blue bow as I put both the clothes on for warmth. It was so comfortable and warm to wear. I grabbed the bow and went back to the others. I asked Finn a favor to put the bow around my neck, so he helped me. I thank him for helping me out, he says it's no problem.

       I saw Vincent, running away from Flora practicing her moves on him. The others try to get his attention, but Vincent won't have it. Geo and his team showed up to what they have missing.

Floette (Bridgette): "Fairy Wind!"

Noibat (Vincent): "No no no wait!"

*Bridgette made a tornado of fairy dust which made Vincent spin faster and land facepalm on the ground.*

Noibat (Vincent): *Gasps heavily* "I'm...I'm defeated..."

Tyrunt (Daniel): "Hell yeah!"

Mightyena (Grayson): "Way the go, Bridgette!"

Floette (Bridgette): "Thanks, boys. See, Finn,

I can handle Dragon types."

Quilladin (Finn): "I can see it now."

Noibat (Vincent): "I'm almost gonna faint."

Ivysaur (Bullet): "At least you have to practice."

Heliolisk (Julian): "Hey, Vincent, you should try and challenge Mateo!"

Noibat (Vincent): "Nah, I think I'm good."

Frogadier (Geo): "Brittany, I see you wear the clothes I bought you at Lumiose."

Braixen (Brittany): "Yeah, it's fucking chilly in here."

Quilladin (Finn): "Geo, you should challenge your girlfriend!"

Pancham and Raichu (Budo and Logan): "What?!"

Heliolisk (Julian): "Finn, that's my idea!"

Frogadier (Geo): *Gulps* " I don't know if it's..."

Quilladin (Finn): "You battle me before we arrived at Cyllage, but you didn't battle Brittany. Although, she was the referee back then."

Heliolisk (Julian): "Then, I'll be the referee."

Braixen (Brittany): "Yeah. It won't hurt to try, you know."

Frogadier (Geo): "I guess I have no choice then. Okay, let's do this."

       Finn was pumped up with the excitement of Geo's answer, and so is Julian. Julian grab my hand and Geo's hand to find a spot to battle. Bullet, Vincent, Jayden, and Mateo comes after us. We stopped running and Julian found a perfect spot. Geo and I went to our battle positions as the rest were standing on let side where I was standing. Julian clear his throat.

Heliolisk (Julian): "The battle between Brittany and Geo is now on the section. This will be a one-on-one match. Are you ready for the battle, Brittany?"

Braixen (Brittany): "I'm ready, Julian."

Heliolisk (Julian): "Are you also ready, Geo?"

Frogadier (Geo): "I'm darn ready."

Heliolisk (Julian): "Alright, let the battle begin...Now!"

      I used Psybeam to aim to Geo, but he jumped up high to dodge my attack. As Geo jumped high, he used Aerial Ace which is a very nice move for me to do multiple cartwheels. The boys were shocked as I was doing cartwheels. But the one thing I didn't know that Julian was recording a video. I used Flame Charge to distract Geo, and he simply avoids my attack. Geo summons Water Pulse, but I do the splits to not get hurt by Water Types Moves.

The boys both cheered me and Geo. I also do backflips and used Pysbeam again to get a direct shot, and it works. It hit directly to Geo and I aim Flame Charge as it also hits directly to Geo. Then he uses Quick Attack to runs quickly towards me directly to the ground. I quickly got up as he uses Aerial Ace to finish, but with thinking, I do an incredible front flip to aim Psybeam at him, just in time to finish the battle. I landed safely, standing with my two feet.

Braixen (Brittany): "Ta-da!"

Noibat (Vincent): Brittany, that was-!"

Gabite (Mateo): "So fucking amazing!"

Honedge (Jayden): "We don't know you could do those types of tricks!"

Ivysaur (Bullet): "Yeah, it made my mind blow!"

Braixen (Brittany): "Hehe...Thanks."

Julian goes to Geo as he held him to get up. I ran towards them with joy and I can tell by the look on his face. Geo was as shocked and speechless as ever.

Heliolisk (Julian): "Are you okay, dude?"

Frogadier (Geo): "Yeah, I'm fine. But do you see what Brittany-?"

Heliolisk (Julian): "I know what I just saw. I'm speechless as you are right now. I even record it on video."

Braixen (Brittany): "See, Geo, I told you it won't hurt to try."

Heliolisk (Julian): "I'm gonna let you guys alone. Can't wait for everyone to see this video."

Frogadier (Geo): "Brittany, how did you do that?"

Braixen (Brittany): "You mean the cartwheels, the splits, front and backflips?"

Frogadier (Geo): "Yeah, when did you learn that from?"

Braixen (Brittany): "I learned that by myself. It's the way of securing myself. Was it good?"

Frogadier (Geo): "Are you kidding me? That was awesome! You can do that in any battle!"

Braixen (Brittany): "Yeah, I think I should do that in battle."

Geo hugged me and raised me up as Nashly, Bobby, and Hannah found us, looking for the others. Geo put me down as Bobby came up to us and we're looking for Elizabeth to talk. Bullet knows and takes the three to her. The rest followed them as Geo and I were left behind. Geo says we should follow them, I nodded at him. We hold hands and walked our way to the group.

Geo and Brittany headed back to the other. The group was still practicing but Bobby has to give Elizabeth and Tonya a to chat about the letter they are given as he knows the truth. He thinks he can also help his cousins get through all the troubles they have.
