The Start of Training

Well here I am again, how are you?

I turned 10 a week ago and it was time to enroll at Sanctum Academy, when I told my parents I wanted to be a Hunstman at 6 years old they were initially against the idea but after insisting on it for over a month they changed their minds.

I vividly remember how I found out my parents weren't exactly normal...

(--Flashback--)

I was sitting on a couch in front of my parents waiting for them to say something.

When I asked them again if I could train to be a Huntsman, I was expecting just one more negative answer, but this time they didn't answer me anything and went to talk in another room of the house while telling me to wait on the couch.

And now, 10 minutes later, I'm waiting for them to say something.

My dad let out a sigh and looked at me a little worriedly before starting to speak;

"Sirius, first of all you should know that your mother and I were once Huntsman and Huntress." He spoke and I was a little surprised, I didn't see any sign of anything belonging to a Huntsman in the whole house, I thought my parents were just normal people.

"We weren't anything extraordinary, I was just a Rank C Huntsman and his mother a Rank B, we didn't even go to one of the big schools like Shade, and we left the Huntsman life for...reasons." My dad kept talking and I nodded.

For a second I thought I would fall into a cliché where my parents are secretly cultivators of the Sovereign Dragon Divine Heaven realm or something and lost their cultivation because of a mysterious enemy that would come and kill my parents in front of me while I was still in my first year of Sanctum and somehow the mysterious enemy would be my older brother who fell into darkness and would make me become a second Sasuke Uchiha, but this time with silver eyes, therefore, more badass…

What am I thinking?

But anyway, getting back to the serious conversation, obviously I had to act like a normal 6 year old boy who just found out his parents are warriors who fighting creatures made of negative emotions.

"Waahh, your were Hunstman like mr Viridis?" I asked with stars (metaphorical, of course) in my eyes.

UmU, I deserve an Oscar for my master-level acting.

By the way, Viridis was one of the hunters who had permanent residence in the city and was one of the nicest ones who sometimes did small shows for the kids using his semblance, which was some kind of green light that he could solidify.

My mother gave me a warm smile as she saw me looking at them in awe and amazement.

"Yes, dear, Your mother was even stronger than Viridis." She spoke as she sat down next to me and pulled me into a hug.

"Haha yes! Your mother was a beast on the battlefield, she always looked like a Goddess of War." My dad said with a laugh as he joined us on the couch.

"Hum, so what weapon did you guys use and where are you now? And what are your Semblances? What was the strongest Grimm you defeated?" I started my torrent of questions while sitting on my mother's lap.

"Haha, calm down boy, we will answer your questions, but first we have something to discuss." My dad spoke up and got a serious face soon after.

He looked at me seriously and asked a question.

"Sirius... Are you really serious about being a Huntsman?"

I also made the most serious expression a 6-year-old could and answered resolutely;

"Yes I am."

After a few seconds of looking into my eyes and looking for something, he looked satisfied and gave me a smile as my mom started to stroke my head.

"Good! But I will not let you go to Sanctum without any preparation, starting tomorrow we will start training your body, nothing too extreme, just to condition your body for combat."

I nodded, expecting something like this when I found out they were Huntsman, they already know the hardships and how dangerous it can be and wouldn't leave their only child unprepared to be one.

And just like my father said, the next day I started training with them, but there is a detail, the people of Remnant, for always having to fight for their lives since the beginning of humanity in this world, have much stronger bodies than the human beings of the modern earth era.

A proof of this appears in the series, Jaune Arc, even having his aura awakened just a few minutes before, without any training, and according to the other characters 'Looking like a Noodles', managed to hold a blow from the stinger of an Ancient Deathstalker, of course, the Grimm in the series are weaker than the ones in the world I live, but still, an Ancient Deathstalker can pierce a block of iron, how much weaker can it be in the series?

So yes, a 17 year old person in Remnant, even without any training, is much stronger than an average human being on earth.

I don't think this is just due to evolution amidst the battles against themselves and the Grimm, I have no way to prove it, but I think Remnant's gravity is higher than Earth's, or maybe I'm just talking Bullshit. .

But I've found people here to be stronger and tougher because the 'light' exercises my dad made me do were something a normal 6 year old from the land would never be able to do.

And now, at 10 years old, I can say that I am at least as strong as a normal adult on earth, or at least as strong as my adult self in my past life.

The maximum weight I was able to lift was 55 kg, according to my father this is nothing extraordinary for a Huntsman because there are weapons that weigh over 100 kg and some even heavier.

Qrow Branwen, one of the Legendary Huntsman for example, said that his weapon, which is a mechashift of a Heavy Sword, a Scythe and a Gun called the Harbinger, weighs over 200 kg and he uses it in battle as if it were light.

But anyway, now I'm in a Bullhead on my way to Mistral along with my parents to sign up for Sanctum and start my real training.

I've already decided what my choice of weapon will be for the six months of training...

I'm in need of suggestions for your weapon, should it just be a mechashift from a slash weapon and a gun? Should do like Qrow and join 3 shapes? and what should your Semblance be? Make your suggestions guys.
