Near the main gym, I can already hear the mic noises coming out of the gym, arriving at the door of the main gym we got welcomed by the staff members that are listening to the news of the event.

"Uhmmm... Miss Johnson do you know where Mrs.Chin is?" Mrs. Walker asked one of the staff.

"Just there" Miss Johnson pointed back far corner right of the bench on the first floor, the first floor because there are two floors and the gym is quite big.

"Thank you, Aighty Art follow me"

I followed Mrs. Johnson while walking into the edge of the main event and lots of eyes looking at me and to be fair though they probably it's the first day of school and I'm already in trouble.

"Thank you, Mrs. Walker"

"No problem just go come to my office if you have a problem with your school or wanna change it"

"Sure"

After Mrs. Walker leave and go back to the staff area I went upstairs and just looked for Mrs. Chin's sign and arrived at it. I just sat down at the back and used my phone, the lights are turned off so I just lowered my phone's brightness to not get caught using it.

I just put on my AirPods and listening some music, Sunflower by Post Malone is my favorite song but I do have lots of favorite songs but Sunflower is the only one that I want these days, well my mood change.

After 20 minutes the event was still not finished and I am still using my phone. But when they started announcing the tryout schedule for the school sports I put down one of my AirPods and listen to the schedules that they were announcing.

"For Soccer the tryout will be next month and while waiting for the tryouts the one who wants to practice can go the soccer field outside every after starting today to practice"

I was too stunned to speak what I just heard instead of saying Football they called it Soccer, for the first time I heard I was confused but then understand it when they showed a football picture on the big screen.

After that, I just used my phone and used my AirPods. Then another 30 minutes later the event ended with the principal's announcements and stories. We then got out of the main gym even though it was slow because we have to go outside class by class so it decreases the possibility of covid transmission.

We got out of the main gym last and after going out of that hell because my ass was hurting I stretched out my back. We followed our homeroom teacher to our homeroom on the 3rd floor of the school.

The number of our room is 345 and apparently, the third floor of the building has 4 floors and the 3rd floor is the science floor. Arriving at our homeroom we immediately go to our seats and I just went to the furthest back of the room to seat there. The furthest seat has one long table that can fit 3 people to seat.

After waiting a minute for the students to arrive our teacher go in front and started to hand out blank papers.

"This activity is to get to know each other, so basically you guys go around find the person you want to know and just ask their name and birthday, and the one who has the highest names and birthday win and will receive a reward from me"

The whole class just groan at what the teacher said because probably they don't want to stand up and go around to ask their best friend names or someone they already know.

I go up front and asked the teacher's permission for me to go to the public washroom. Then I leave the room and go find the washroom because I forgot to ask the teacher where is the washroom located, so I just sigh while chuckling a bit because I will probably spend 10 minutes finding the washroom.

After exactly spending 10 minutes in the hallway finding the washroom I returned to my homeroom and the teacher just asked me why did I spend 10 minutes just pee so I said I got lost and he just said I should have asked him where the washroom is and I just go to my seat at the back.

Going to my seat something changed the 2 empty chairs that are empty just a moment ago now have 2 people sitting on them. Not surprised because after all this school is famous and near downtown so this should be full of students.

I sat down in my seat while the 2 guys just stared at me while I stared at them, they looked Asian not being racist or anything but I can because I have been in most parts of Asia.

Of course, I don't want to be the weird guy so I said hi.

"Sup," the guy in the middle said while he reached out his hand for a fist bump so I just fist bump him back while saying.

"Sup, you guys wanna at least one person in your paper?" I asked while pointing at the paper that the teacher handed out.

"Yeah, sure why not"

"So what's your name?" The guy on the left asked.

"Arthur Accardi"

"Cool name, bruh," the middle and the left said in sync.

"Birthday?" the middle asked.

"Uhmmm... June 23, 2006" I said while the two of them just finished writing my name and birthday in their own papers.

"Your turn bruh, my English name is Sean, my birthday is on July 6, 2006," Sean said that sits on the left.

"Cool name," I said while writing his name and birthday on my paper while the middle guy also do the same.

"My name is Hendry and my birthday is on March 19, 2006" Hendry that sits in the middle said.

"Hendry pretty interesting name to me," I said while I write his name and birthday in my paper while Sean do the same.

"Where did you come from, Art? And can we call you Art?" Hendry asked.

"You guy can call me Art same for everyone I know and I came from Milan, Italy," I said.

The two of them looked at each other and looked at me again.

"Italy is a nice place, I came from Hong Kong," Hendry said.

"I came from Japan but I'm Korean and half Japanessness" Sean said.

After that, we guys spent 20 minutes chatting and getting to know each other and after that, I did feel that the 3 of us become friends. Also, Sean and I liked football while Hendry and I talked about Basketball.

I guess the 3 of us talking too loud Mrs. Chin come to the back and told us to lower our voices because we're being a bit too loud. Of course, as a teenage guy, I should have Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, or more social media that I use but unfortunately, I don't have one, at first Hendry and Sean just laugh and after looking through my phone they believed me and we just exchanged phone numbers.

"Hi, do you have a sec to talk?" a girl asked me.

Before answering I looked at Hendry and Sean while they just laugh at me because I was almost got caught talking about who is better Ronaldo or Messi.

"Uhhhh... Sure"

"So what's your name and your birthday?" The white-blonde girl asked.

"Arthur Accardi and June 23, 2006"

"Thank you," The girl said while leaving.

After that weird moment, the 3 of us then started talking again until the first period ended. at 10:35 I go to my next period which is Robotics which is on the first floor, just like last period we have to know each other and introduce to each other although this time I didn't meet someone who I can talk to instead Hendry who is apparently we have the same first and second period.

After the second period ended lunch starts at 12:00 at noon and Hendry and I wait in the cafeteria but the cafeteria is full of students so we decided to go back into our homeroom and lucky us the homeroom is open.

My lunch is pasta with a little bit of cheese with veggies and fruits. It is my go-to lunch in Italy and I was so lucky that our house helper lives at our house 5 Mon-Friday so I can have prepared and home-cooked pasta for my school lunch.

Eating while also talking to Hendry and Sean bring memories from my old friends but then again meeting new people isn't a bad thing. Hendry convinced me to download Instagram and Snapchat although I will probably not gonna use them every minute.

After setting up my Instagram and Snapchat accounts the 3 of us added each other while I just send them a picture of my dog in Italy which is a Great Dane breed but also can be called German Mastiff, my dog's name is Pudge.
