36. Prepare To Flight

"Don't like to make Mammy worry like that, I can't bear to see her face. Mammy looks like a very exhausted person, Gerry. Ah, if only I was there, I would hug Mammy and calm her down," Clarissa said with a feeling of blue emotion.

"That's why I'm going home now. Earlier you kept me from going home tonight, now you're even saying that" Gerry sneered a little.

"It's because of me... I feel sorry for Mammy."

"Then come home with me," said Gerry.

Clarissa squinted slightly, "You seem to have gone mad, I'm an apprentice. I couldn't possibly just leave him alone," Clarissa snorted.

"Riss, look me in the eye," said Gerry suddenly. He then drew closer to Clarissa, he stared intently at Clarissa's beautiful eyes without even blinking.

"Why, Gerry? Why are you suddenly weird like this?" Clarissa asked, blinking her eyelids because she felt uncomfortable being stared at by Gerry like that.
