Chapter 20: Field Trip.

I got up out my bed and started putting my clothes on. 'This power truly is a curse..'

It's been a week since my trail. School has been continuing like normal with only a small number of people avoiding me. Heck, even I was avoiding a certain person.

"Master. Breakfast is ready." Ryoko knocked on my door. "Is there going to be coffee?" I asked out as I officially started putting my clothes on. "Of course." I then heard her foot steps fade away.

I haven't slept since the first day of school which was a week ago. If I do, he'll take over and cause destruction. Staying up isn't nothing new as I used to stay up almost every night watching youtube, but now, its different.

Not really different per say.

I just need to get used to it again. "Haruto dear. Are you up?" Mother knocked on my door. "Yes. mother." I put my sleeves down to cover my arms and went over to my dresser. "Okay. Just making sure." No one knew about this.

Not Mother, not Aiko, Not Ryoko. No one.

I'd like to keep it that way too, as I don't want to worry them about this.

I motioned my hand down and picked up my cross earrings. 'Ouch!' Something pricked me, making me drop the earrings on the floor. 'What the hell? Why can't I?..' As if waiting for me to think that, the Black Emperor spoke.

'▪︎Your becoming more evil. Holy items are starting to affect you now..▪︎'

I snickered at his words. 'How the hell am I?..' These earrings worked like some sort of life gauge. It tells Mother and Aiko, who had the same earrings, that I'm alive. If I die or something, it'll send them a message directly to their brain, telling them of that.

This of course happens to all of us, as in we'll all get sent a message to our brain if something happens to us.

'Screw it.'

I fixed my hair in the mirror and smiled. 'Do something great today okay?' I now had to tell myself that in the morning to keep me sane.

I grabbed my bag and went towards the door. I opened it and closed it behind me. "Big brother! Hurry up, or I'll eat your food!" Aiko yelled from the kitchen. "Yeah, yeah." I smiled and went towards the stairs. I walked down them and threw my bag onto the couch.

"Eat up young man." I sat down in my chair which was next to Aiko. "Your going into the dungeon today correct? You'll need to have a full stomach." I smiled at Mothers words. "This will be your first time right? I wish I could see it, but I'll sadly be out of the capital on a mission with my party..."

Mother sighed out as I prayed. 'Ouch!!' I felt a jolt hit my head. 'I...Can't even pray?!' That's not fair. Anyone should be able to pray to God, no matter If your good or evil. "I'm so jealous of Big brother.." Aiko sighed. "The unique class gets to explore the dungeon while we have to study the handbook and rules.."

I continued eating the eggs and bacon. "Here you are Master." Ryoko placed a small mug with black liquid inside next to me. "Thank you." She bowed and went back to the kitchen. 'I need more...Maids..' Seeing Ryoko doing everything like, cleaning, laundry, cooking, waxing, checking the cameras, shaving the trees, and many more makes me...Uncomfortable.

It's just too much on her. "Oh my~ I think it's time for you two to leave.." Mother said with a jolly smile. "Oh crap! Your right!" Aiko got up and picked her bag up. "See you later mom!" She grabbed a piece of bread and kissed her on the cheek.

She then ran out the door, leaving me behind. "Have a good day Haruto.." Mother stared at me with a complex look. "Yeah.." I got up and picked my coffee up as well. I then walked over to her and kissed her on the cheek. "You too Mother. Don't push yourself too hard."

I walked over to the couch and grabbed my bag. "Ryoko. Take care of things while were gone okay?" I raised my voice slightly, so she could hear me. "As you wish, Master." She bowed with her eyes closed.

I then walked over to the door and opened it. I then saw a certain woman, making me groan. "Why...Why are you here?" It was the beast herself, Caroline. "Are you still sleepy or something? C'mon now slave.." I ignored her words and looked over. "Reina? What are you doing here?" She was in a uniform that belonged to our school.

"Because Ms. is going into the dungeon, and I'm her personal guard, I have to go with her." I walked up to Caroline. "What about Geo? Isn't he your guard." I asked her and she scoffed. "He was, but I fired him from guarding me. He loses to Reina in a fight, so its obvious that I would have her as my new guard."

Poor Geo.

"Let's go slave! We'll be late!" She turned around while flipping her red hair. I nodded from behind and we started walking. "Slave. I think it's time we discuss what happened a week ago. You put your filty hands on me and-"

"Shut up."

Reina became surprised at my tone towards her. "Hey! Don't speak to the princess like that!" She pulled the sword out from her scabbard that was on her left hip and aimed it at me. "Its fine Reina. He's just mad.." Hearing this, she scoffed and put it away.

"I already apologized. What more do you want from me?"

"You apologize by showing action. Honestly, did your mother even raise you right?"

My body started heating up at those words. "Oops. I'm sorry. Did I trigger something inside of you?" She looked over her shoulder with a smile.

"No..." I calmed down slightly. "What do you mean you apologize by showing action? What do you want me to do?" I questioned her as we got to the road. "You'll see in the future.." At those words, I could see red lines appearing on Reina's face.

'Oh boy..' I took a sip of my coffee and sighed.

"Okay class! Are you ready?!" We were in the locker rooms, putting on our adventurer outfits.

"No. Mine is too tight around the....Crotch area.." I spoke out, causing some of the guys to laugh. My outfit consisted of no shirt with black pants and black boots. I had my crown and cape on though with a scabbard on my back.

"Ms. Amy. Tell me how I look." I walked out the locker room and asked. "U-Uhm.." She stared at my chest that had a huge scar on it. "Great.." She was drooling on the floor with heart eyes. "W-Wait! Your 12! I can't say that!"

She whipped her face and I sighed. I then walked back in with my head down. "Hey." Someone placed their hand on my shoulder. "Why the hell have you been avoiding me?" His question made everyone look out the corner of their eyes.

"Not avoiding. I just never really got a chance to speak to you until now."

"Lies. I've tried coming over to your house, but your Mother told me you were gone. I felt your magic though."

Hm? You felt it? It takes a lot of practice to single out someone's magic like that, especially when a dragon uses theirs to block yours.

"Listen. I've just been caught up lately. It's not personal okay?"

I smiled at him, causing him to slowly remove his hand. "You look good by the way." I checked him out. "R-Really?" He wasn't expecting me to change the subject so fast.

He had on black pants with grey boots that went a little bit passed his ankle. His pants were ripped slightly on his kneecaps and he had a blue and black bandana wrapped around his thigh. He wore a light blue t-shirt with a black zipper jacket halfway on. He had on a black checker as well and wore hopped earrings.

"Yeah. It's a...Unique design." We both look like idiots, but we'll be idiots together.

"Okay Ms. Amy. We're ready." She nodded and we all started walking out into the hallway. "Okay. Now we have to wait on the girls."

We nodded at her. Amy wore skin tight armor on her thighs, legs, and forearms. Everything else was just regular clothing. "We're ready." The beast sounded out and we soon heard footsteps.

They then came out the locker room and some metal sounded out from the boys. "You all look wonderful!" She cheered out at them. "Yeah, they do!" Jake said outloud. Jake riverside was someone with yellow lightning magic. Baggy clothes with some armor on himself.

I then went up to a short, yet tall individual and checked them out. "Nice.." I looked all around Rei, making her hide under her huge witch like hat. "Stop it.." Her quite, gentle voice sounded out. "What? Why? You look good."

She wore a black cloak in high heels making her sort of taller. She had on black pants that were kind of see through with a pink shirt on. She wore black gloves and had a very, very long sword on her right hip that almost touches the ground. She had on pink earrings with a huge grey witch hat. "Its embarrassing.." I patted her hat and smiled. "Its fine..."

She then shook her head. "No...Your embarrassing.." She gave a small laugh, causing me to nod in shame. "Slave. Come over here, and rate my outfit!" She pointed to herself with a huge smile.

"Yeah, yeah." I sighed out and walked up to her. From her sabatons(feet) to her cuisses(thigh), it was only metal, with a dragon like design on her knee caps. She wore a black curtain that went from below her stomach, down do her legs, and showed her thighs. They were quite literally sticking out. Her perfect curves attracted everyone. She wore a black bra with her arms being covered from shoulder to hand in metal. Her huge scythe, which was dark red and black in color, was station on her back, being wrapped up in her hair.

'Damn she hot.' I coughed a bit and spoke. "It looks good. 7/10." She does look good, but...I can't rate too highly. It'll make it seem like I care.

Expecting some sort of pain or insult, I bawled up. "Oh? I see then." She said something in a calm voice, but I couldn't hear it. "Okay. Is everyone ready?!" We all cheered out. "Then let's goooo!" We cheered out once more.

"I can't wait!" Arthur had pink eyes.

"Its my first time in the dungeon with a friend!" He cheered at me and I smiled.

"Yeah! Mine too!" I was becoming happier and happier by the second. 'Apart from some things, school isn't that bad..' I sighed out in relief.

'This really is my second chance at life.'

....

"Okay! If you don't have an adventure card, go get one now!"

We were now at the adventures guild. It wasnt that huge in size as this was for the school only. "I'll wait for you here okay?" Arthur already had one, but I didn't. "Alright." I then started walking, and eventually arrived at a counter.

"Hello. I would like to sign up as an adventurer please." I asked the receptionist. She was a middle-aged lady with black hair and black eyes. "Yes! Please give me one second!" She put on a business smile and bent down. She then popped back up with a card in hand.

"Please pour your magic into this. Also, can you tell me your rank?" She passed me the card and I nodded. "Rank 4: Advanced." I poured my magic into the transparent card and it turned pitch black. Purple text appeared on it as well.

"O-Okay." She motioned me to give the card back and I did. She then moved her finger around the card in a circle motion and gave it back. "Okay. You are rank E. Do you understand why?" She asked me and I nodded.

Not expecting my nod, she started sweating. "O-Okay. Is there anything you need to ask me?" I shook my head no. "O-Okay. You may carry on then." I nodded at her and went back. I didn't need an explanation since my mother is an adventurer. She obviously told me everything about it.

"Yo. How'd it go?" Arthur asked me and I nodded. "Fine. They put me at rank E." I showed him my card and he took it. The card held information like my age, race, name, magic, job, basic stuff like that. It also had a huge E in the right hand side of it.

"E huh? I'm rank C! Bow down to your superior!" He rubbed under his nose while giving out a small laugh. "Slave. Did everything go well?" She walked up to us, causing us to groan. "Yes. Everything is fine. And please stop calling me slave. Commoner was perfect.."

She stared at me and nodded. "Okay. Commoner it is. That's your new name." She then turned around and walked away. "Your sister man.." I think I've grown grey hairs from speaking to her. "Just let her be. I would say get used to it, but....You really won't.."

We both then walked outside the building. Everyone was waiting and when they saw me, the only person who hasn't got an adventurer card walking out, they knew it was time to leave.

"Okay everyone!" Ms. Amy shouted out with a serious look.

"Beyond this point, lyes the dungeon. This is no place to play around in. If you die, you die. If you get hurt, you get hurt. Do you understand me?!"

""Yes Ma'am!"" We said to her.

"Okay! Let's go then!" We then started walking into the cave that was filled with black that even I couldnt see through. "Haruto. Stick close to me." Arthur made a serious face. "Your overreacting man. It's only the first floor right?"

I laughed a bit and he looked at me.

"No. This is the 50th."

Eh?

'What the fuck did you just say?!'

'▪︎I believe he-▪︎'

'Shut up! I know what he said!'

The Black Emperor sighed and his breath disappeared.

'I'm...I'm going to die!'

....

In the dungeon, a group of 30 men was seen. One man In particular had huge muscles with a giant mace on his back. He had black hair with a small beard. He was sitting down with his legs crossed as well.

In the background, there were multiple small tents. The sound of screams were coming out of it, causing the man to sigh a bit.

"I did it! They arent virgins anymore!"

A man came out a tent while fixing his belt. He was very skinny to the point where he could be mistaken for skin and bone.

"Shut up Carl! The boss is focusing!" One man shouted at him. "They were so tight and their screams were just excellent.." Carl licked his lips while smelling his red fingers.

"Carl. Did you fuck the children too?"

"Yis. They were the best."

"Weird.."

They were a group of bandits, but even they had standards. "Quite." The man sitting on the floor said. "I'm almost there..." He was shifting his hands around while emitting a purple glow.

"Once I obtain this power, I'll be able to do anything with a mere thought." He gave a diabolical laugh, making the other 29 laugh as well.

"Let the darkness...Consume.."

....

"I ain't sign up for this."

We were on floor 50 now. "C'mon man. You can do this bro." Earlier today at school, I asked to go to the bathroom. Apparently, that's when they talked about going to floor 50.

"I hope I don't die.." I sat down on a wall. "C'mon. We're gonna be left behind." He bent down and extended his hand out. "I'll protect you okay?" He gave a huge smiled with his eyes closed.

"Yeah, Yeah.." I took his hand and he helped me up. In that moment however, I felt my back fall into nothingness. "What the hell..." I landed on the ground again with my body spinning in circles. I heard Arthur screaming out as I screamed as well.

I then stopped feeling rock on my back and noticed I was in the air. "W-What the hell is happening?!" Me and Arthur were free failing in the sky. "I-I think you activated a trap door!" We fell for some time until we saw ground.

We then hit it and bounced back up, causing pain all over our body. "Ouch..." I rolled over onto my back. "Where...Are we?" I slowly sat up while holding my head. "A...Lake?.." I saw a huge blue lake that seemed infinite. "Yo Arthur. You seeing this right?"

I looked back and saw him slowly getting up. "Yep. I'm seeing this." He held his back with his right eye closed. "Wait. What's that over there?" He pointed to the left and I looked over. In the distance, I saw treasure chest and tents.

"Somebody's down here. Maybe we can ask them what floor we're on." Yeah, maybe. Also, speaking of floors, what's the lowest we've ever been? "Let's go check it out." I walked over to Arthur and helped him out.

We both then walked down the cave that was huge in size. "Hel....me.." I heard a small voice coming from the tent. Me and Arthur then looked at each other then looked back. We slowly walked up to a tent and...

"W-Whats that smell?!" We both covered our noses. "Smells like shit and piss..." I then slowly sat Arthur down and went into the tent. "What....The fuck." I saw 4 naked women with bruise marks and white stuff all over them.

"Hey!" I bent down over one of them and tapped their face. They instantly flinched and hit my hand away. 'Damn it! These women...' I checked their bodies out. 'Definitely were raped!' Someone then came in behind me. "Arthur! Help me with them!"

I instantly felt my neck being scrunched. "Oi? What the fuck are you doing?" I was dragged out the tent and thrown away. As soon as I hit the ground, it felt as if my bones were breaking. "Haruto.." I looked over and saw Arthur. His whole body had blood spots.

"Arthur?.." He smiled at me and his eyes closed. "Boss! He touched your women! Let's kill 'em!" I slowly looked up and saw about...30?! men standing over me. They were all in black suits with only their face showing. "How about we rape him?! I never had a male!"

Someone pointed at Arthur. "No bro. Just no." Someone calmed down the boney man. "Hey. This brat..." A big man with a mace came up to me. "He..Uses the dark element! Let's kill him now before-" I disappeared, grabbing Arthur in the process.

'This...Why is this Happening now?..' I could tell they all used dark magic. 'How do they all have it though?..' I started healing myself and Arthur. 'Damn it. Too many questions are filling my head!'

Arthur then started coughing up blood. "Hey man! Are you okay?" I tapped his face with a serious look. "Yeah...What happened?" He looked around and noticed that he couldn't see me, as black was the only thing in his vision.

"We were attacked by people. Right now, we're in a shadow, and I'm healing you." He looked in my direction and slowly nodded. 'So this is what it feels like to be in the dark...' He shivered a bit.

'Its cold...'

"Arthur. Those people were bandits probably. They were raping women down here, exploring the dungeon at the same time."

I wonder if I could take their powers.

"What are we going to do?" He slowly sat up, but I pushed him back down. "Fight? Turn back? I...don't know."

Take their power..

"I..I can"t fight that many alone.." His lips curled up.

"That's why...You have me." We both smiled and I started explaining to him a plan.
