In a dark room, a man was sitting on the corner of a black bed. He had scars that seemed fresh all over his chest and back. In the bed, their was a naked woman with frizzy hair and bruises all over her body.
"Listen. Your never leaving this room without my say so. You know that?"
He stared at the floor.
"They...will come for me. You know that?"
The woman in the bed quietly spoke out, twitching in the process.
"Not unless you go over there and say that your fine. You'll come back right?"
He got up and walked over to his balcony. He rested his hands on the rails and watched his kingdom as the sun slowly rose.
"Y-You want me to go back and say that I'm fine? What if I tell them about what happened here? What will you do then?"
The man continued starring out.
"You...won't do that."
Hearing this, the woman became slighly irritated. Noticing her angry look out the corner of his eye, he continued speaking.
"I can give you your magic back. That should keep what happened in the past day a secret right?"
Just then, he heard something hit the floor. He looked back and saw a naked woman slowly crawling towards him.
"Please.."
She held onto his leg.
"Please give them back.."
Haruto stared at the woman with bruises plastered on her face. 'Disgusting..' He frowned at her and hit her away.
"By my desk, there is a small envelope with a bottle on it. Put whatevers on inside and drink that bottle. Leave this place and don't come back until you finish the job. Is that clear?"
He looked at the woman who was slouching against the bed.
"Y-Yes...."
She slowly crawled over to his black desk and took the package and potion. She drunk the potion, making her wounds heal up, and put on the outfit which consisted of bandages.
"Leave."
A black portal appeared in front of her, making her jump slightly.
"W-What if they know I'm lying?"
She looked over at the mans back.
"You'll figure something out if you want your magic back."
The portal then swallowed her, not letting her get a chance to comment.
'Fuck. Those filthy Demons chose war huh? Well let's play this safely. We'll act like we took this...joke or whatever with laughs and leave it alone.'
"Big brother?.."
The door creaked open and a small child, wearing a grey shirt with a dragon on it and black pants with purple lines on the side, appeared.
"What..happened?.."
The small child walked across the room. He had his nose covered from the horrendous smell.
"Just some punishment that's all.."
The child stood behind him.
"Punish..ment? You..raped a girl big brother. Is that..punishment?"
The man turned around and stared at the boy.
"Yes. That is punishment. She messed up order around here. For that, it should have been death, but I happened to be in a good mood at the time, so rape was the next option. She enjoyed it in the end, so it doesn't really matter.."
The man turned back around and stared out. 'Rape. I know how it feels. To be forced into something you don't want is something that any being hates the most.'
"I'm..not mad at brother. I'm happy in fact! He..was too kind to people! He needed to embrace his true colors and show his true desire.."
The small child then hugged on the mans leg.
"Be like this more big brother. It suits you."
The infinite blush on his face got redder as he rubbed his face into his leg.
"More like this huh? A man who rapes women?"
He knew what he meant.
"No. Be more...you. The true you that doesn't talk things out. Be the you that shows dominance through power. Be the you that shows everyone that he isn't just some kid blinded by good. Be the you...that you think is you."
He looked down at the child. There eyes were both purple now, making them seem like the same person with different heights.
"I love you Larius. Thank you...for being my brother.."
The man placed his hand on the child's head.
"Yeah! I love you too brother! Thank you...for being my host and big brother!"
They smiled at each other with the sun raising even higher in the distance.
....
Haruto held Larius's hand as they walked down the spiraling stairs.
"Big brother seems darker now. Your voice is quieter and more layed back."
We got to the bottom of the stairs that went into a long hallway.
"I'm still the same. Just...a little more self aware now."
Haruto stopped at a door and opened it up. He saw a pink haired girl and a red haired girl sitting on a couch with their eyes closed. He then took his cloak off and threw it onto a hanger and sat down behind a desk. Larius sat on his lap.
"What's happening now?"
He asked outloud.
"Chaos. The people are scared and some are even trying to leave."
"Don't...let that happen. Please go down there and calm them down for me."
Caroline nodded, but stayed seated. Haruto then looked out the window behind him and sighed.
"How many casualties were there?"
Caroline then tossed him a scroll and Larius caught it. He opened it and they both read the paper.
"I...see.."
20 knights. 5 demons. 2 oni. 1 elf.
"If they have families, send them some gold, along with their bodies in a casket."
"B-But sir. We...can't afford to do that! It'll dig into our resources!"
Reina stared at him with a slight frown with sadness mixed in.
"I..don't care. Send them the money. I have a plan for getting it back."
Caroline stood up and left. Reina still had an unsure expression on her face.
"We...no, I will go to Prosperity and ask for support. I will also be asking for their dome technology. I'm...just over it now..."
Haruto didn't want to use the dome technology before now as he wanted people to come in on their own and ask to be apart of his kingdom. That was the plan, but seeing as we were attacked, it really changed everything.
"Reina. Come here."
He motioned her over to himself. Reina slightly nodded and grabbed her crutches. She then slowly came over to him and stood in front of his desk.
"For the next couple of weeks, you will be relived from duty. I know...that your frustrated at yourself for being the first person to fall in battle. I know..that your sad for your dead comrades. I know...."
Her face started scrunching with small trails of tears pouring down.
"No.."
"Yes."
"Please...don't do this. I-I need to be out there right now!"
"I..can't let you do that. Your in a sorry state right now. You twisted both your ankles. Your rib cage is slighly cracked too, making it hard for you to even stand up right now. I..can't allow you to continue like that.."
Hearing those words, she started stammering slightly.
"Take a break Reina. I don't want to see my strongest player any more weakened like this.."
A portal appeared under her, causing her to fall through and disappear.
"Big brother.."
Larius slowly looked up at me. He had teary eyes.
"Why can't you heal hEr?.."
He looked down and stared into his black eyes. 'Why can't I heal her huh?'
He then pinched his cheeks, making him squint.
"Things like this can better a person. She'll realize that in order for something like this to not happen again, she'll need to get stronger and stronger. Healing her now would probably make her think that she's invincible. I..don't want that. I want to see a new person when she comes out of rehabilitation."
Larius eyes slowly opend back up and he stared. He stared and stared and stared and stared.
"Okay.."
He turned into a black ball and flew into my chest. I then looked down at a purple and black watch on my wrist and frowned.
'I wanted to make a public announcement today, but I don't have any openings in my schedule. Yesterday's meeting set me back a few days, and yesterday's problem set me back a few too. For now, I'll send a message to the Demon King, thanking him for the small test. After I'll just work and work and work until I drop dead.'
