Chapter 62: Light Bringer And Dark Emperor (Pt1)

In a world of green and blue, 14 people lived in it. 7 of those 14 were adults, and the other 7 were children. Those children would later be known as the '7 rulers over all things'.

"Mommy. Why can't we go in like the others?"

A woman, who only wore rags, and a small boy, who wore the same, stood outside in front of a vast and long gate. Passed the gate laid a massive mansion that had different characteristics like a tree growing from the side. You could also see an enormous structure in the back that looked similar to a volcano.

"Sweety. You know....they won't allow us in there.."

The woman smiled at the black-haired boy who had deep purple eyes. The boy, however, frowned at her words and said.

"But...I'm one of them too. We...should be able to live in the house with the other dragons and their parent as well."

The woman looked back up, keeping her smile in the process. 'Larius dear. They...are afraid of you. Of what you can become..' The woman stared and stared until she realized that it was dark out.

"Larius. When you grow up, you'll easily have a bigger house than something like this. You..know that right?"

She tried cheering up the boy, who only frowned even deeper. He didn't show it, however.

"Mommy is right. I'll..get an even better house, and you can live with me, okay?! We can be together forever like that, right?"

The woman stared for a moment, then smiled. 'My beautiful boy. We'll always be together..'

"Yes. Now let us go back before they come out, okay?"

The two then walked away into the darkness that they called night, only to be stared at from behind by 12 people.

"Those fools. They are cursing our land. The world is vast. Why can't they go somewhere else?!"

An angry red-haired man shouted out. This caused the other to look at him with different expressions.

"What? I'm telling the truth. No one likes the dark. It should go away, making Light remain. Don't you agree, Tierra?"

Everyone then looked white-eyed girl who wore a white dress and pink heels.

"Uhm.."

She stared into the darkness.

"I..think that it doesn't matter. As long as the Darkness doesn't cause harm, then things can be fine."

Those words would soon Haunt her as certain events begin to happen.

.... A few years later....

"My baby boy..."

A small child was on his knees with a bloodied woman in his hands. There was destruction all around the two, as trees were burning and the earth was bent.

"I'm sorry...I'm not very bright..."

She then hugged the boy who only kept a blank on his face. Blood was pouring down from her forehead and into her eyes. Her lips had a streak of blood leave them too.

"My beloved son...live on for me.."

She coughed up blood and pushed out one final breath.

"Mom.."

The small boy stared as his mother slowly fell and hit the earth. Her body then disappeared into particles, not being noticed by the boy. He only continued to stare out with tears starting to pour out.

He slowly got up. A black aura started to emit from his body, making the surrounding grass turn pitch black.

A huge pair of black wings sprouted out from his back, making him levitate in the air. His body was twitching with his arms getting bigger and blacker in size and color. His fingers were then transformed followed by his legs which got the same treatment as his arms.

His voice was alternating between human language and some other form of language. His neck was stretching as well with his body getting longer.

From a distance, 6 children with huge wings were seen huffing and puffing.

"U-Uri! Why did you kill his mom?! Do you know what you've done?!"

The person in question only stared with a look of 'I've...screwed up..'

"I-I didn't mean to, okay?! Father forced me to do this! He said he needed me to show him that I was a proper dragon!"

They all scowled at the kid. Uri was the Fire Dragon. Like fire, Uri is a hot-headed person who attacks or does things at the moment. He never considers the outcome of things until they happen.

"Guys..."

Tierra spoke out to them, grabbing their attention like planned.

"Light is the only thing that can counter Darkness. Do you understand...what I'm saying?"

They indeed understood what she meant as all their faces became that of fear.

"I must stop Larius on my own. Even if I heal all of you, he'll just injure you like before. I'm the only one...who can truly put an end to his destruction."

A small, white sword appeared in her hands.

"No.."

They all made sad faces at her words. Tierra was like a big and little sister to everyone. She helped them develop their powers and even with personal problems. Her having to go away now to fight something that they caused would break them.

"No! I won't let you fight him alone! You might die!"

A blue-haired girl stood in front of her, making her back the only thing in Tierra's eyes.

"What Lapis said. To be defeated here when you have so much left to live for would be downright sad."

Uri stood next to Lapis. He had a resolute expression on his face as he got ready to fight.

"Tierra. I love you. I..won't let you die here."

Hearing those words from Draco, her face became slightly red, but for the wrong reasons.

"Let me do your hair when this is over, okay? You can do mine too."

A green-haired woman smiled and came next to Draco who was on Uri's left.

"Oh, Tierra. Your such an idiot for thinking that we would let you fight alone like this."

A brown-haired kid stood next to the green-haired one. They all formed a line with each of them bringing out their weapon.

""He'll have to get through us before laying a hand on you!""

They all screamed out as they stared at the beast. Its body was now that of a dragon. Its size easily rivaled a mountain with its long tail bashing the ground.

"You guys.."

Tears started forming from Tierra's eyes.

"I'm grateful...but I have already seen your future. You all..will perish if you continue from here.."

Her body twitched and the line of people in front of her instantly fell to the floor. They had a small slit on their necks as they crashed into the ground, only to ever wake up after the long battle.

"Hey, big guy.."

Tierra floated over to the Dragon.

"I know..this isn't the best time to talk, but...I'm sorry. I should have seen this all coming."

Her words angered the beast as it opened its mouth. A black ball that was no bigger than a ball appeared.

"I know my words won't work on you as you are already in that state, but please don't do this. Let's go back to being...buddies like we used to.."

Just then, she had a flashback to simpler times.

"Larius. There you are.."

Tierra was running in the woods until she saw a black-haired boy sitting alone under a black-leaved tree.

"What's wrong? You seem...sad?"

She went up to the boy and sat down next to him. The boy was playing with a black leaf in his hands.

"Tierra. Is this okay? For Light and Darkness to be friends like this? For us to even meet like this?"

The leaf in his hand then withered away and he looked up at her. He saw her smiling face, making him slightly blush.

"Of course it's okay. Nobody will know..."

She leaned in and kissed his cheek. This was the relationship that these two had. It was forbidden, but they didn't care.

"Please Larius. Let's go back to how we were.."

The black circle then started pulsating. The leaves on the trees from below then started moving. Tierra noticed this and slightly frowned. 'He's too far gone...'

The ground, mountains, anything that was in a radius of 10,000 feet started sucking itself into the black ball. Tierra quickly reacted to this by enveloping her friends in white balls. Those white balls then flashed and disappeared from the scene.

'This isn't good..'

The world itself started shaking as if it were being pulled into the black hole.

The force of the Dragons' roar shook the entire world. The dragon then flew up into the sky and into space. Teirra's body flashed white and a huge white dragon emerged only to follow after it.

'This world will be sucked up. I need to stop it now...'

The black ball was still there sucking in everything. Noticing this though, she opened her mouth, and a white ball appeared. It was shot out at eye blinking speed and the two fused.

A show of white and black then went off. Tierra kept chasing after Larius as he flew through space. 'Where is he going?..' It was hard to keep track of Larius however as his black skin blended in with the black space around them.

After 30 seconds of traveling, she noticed a planet up ahead. It was dirty blue, and it was void of life.

Larius landed on the ground, breaking it underneath him. Tierra landed as well and the two stared at one another.

"Did you bring me here...because you didn't want to destroy the other world?"

This was her only guess as to why he left. This couldn't be true however as he was willing to suck the entire world into his black hole.

"No..."

Larius spoke out in his regular voice, surprising her.

"In this world, our prowess is equal. This will be...our resting place.."

Larius turned back into a little boy and so did Tierra. 'He brought me here to have a...fair fight with him? Larius, you are..'

"Tierra. I..loved you. I thought you were my friend. My best friend. I wanted to die old with you. I wanted to see you smile for the rest of my life. I wanted...to be there with you for the rest of my life."

His words stuck with Tierra.

"But now.."

Larius stared at the palm of his hand.

"I have to kill you. I..can't trust you. I.."

A tear fell from both of their eyes.

"Hate You."

The two then ran at each other. Memories of their time together flowed in their head as they did.

'Maybe in another life.'

Larius screamed out.

'Let's meet again..'

Tierra screamed out.

They fought for millions and millions of years. Neither of them backing down, with the tears doing the same. Events had happened, causing them both to then give off a final strike to their opponent.

That final hit caused them both to flee and go back to another world where they lived out their dream lives, whether it was that of a road of evil or that of a road of good.

This was the Story of the Light Bringer and The Dark Emperor.

....

At least a small part of it.
