Chapter four

Classes were going on fine, if you'll call confusion fine that is. I didn't fully understand a thing but everything was going just fine, well, almost. The teaching methods were similar to humans, only more advanced with a huge touch of magic and freakiness. I had to fight to stay conscious while watching monsters teach, I was surprisingly taking it very well. The good news was that I hadn't encountered any bully, yet.

'Hey! Wait up!' Someone shouted, I didn't know it was me so I kept hurrying to get to my next class. 'New girl! New girl! Marielle's sister!' I stopped and spun on my heels. A female was running to me; she had long green hair with pink streaks allover, her hair too straight to be real but yet real. Her hair stopped at her waist with a very sharp tips, like thousands of needles. Her eyes were pink, small ultrapink just like her small lips. She had no makeup on and she was shorter than I was but yet the most beautiful pale green skinned girl I had ever seen. She had a freakin' long tree snake wrapped around her neck, it head resting on her shoulder.

As for what she wore, she went with a black side lace V-neck made out of giant leaf or something related, green shorts and wooden knee high boots.

'Hi?' I said nervously, backing off because of the snake. 'What might you be?'

'Tree nymph, you can call me Leaf.'

'Nice to meet you Leaf, I'm Marinette,' I smiled as I continued walking. She skipped beside me, swaying her hands sideways. 'Do all tree nymphs look like this? I've always imagined them to be small fairy like creatures with green skin and twigs sticking out of their bodies.'

'Oh, they are kinds like that, with leaves sticking out of their branches as well. Some are wood made, most with vines, leaves or normal green hair. Many are beautiful with normal body but there must be twigs or something sticking out of them, I am the only one born with this feature.' She squealed.

'You get bullied?'

'Difference isn't a very good thing with nymphs, they like sticking to their own breed and kinds, me being different is hard. I don't know why I am like this, the blade hair and no twigs. The only odd thing about me is my skin color but for months now, my skin keeps changing to light wood colour and changing back...' She flicked her hair. 'Mother say I might completely change skin and that would make everything worse.'

'And the snake?'

'I found him in a bush, he was injured and all alone. I call him Raspberry.' She shrieked, she's loud.

'A snake, Raspberry?' I asked skeptically.

'Don't be skeptical with me,' she said sheepishly. 'Everybody and their weirdness. I call him Raspberry because he love eating and blowing em.'

'I see,' I looked away.

'So, you are new here, right?'

'As you can see.'

'Do you have any friends yet? I don't. Do you mind if we be friends? I would really like that. People say I'm weird, that they don't want to be friends with a shrieking weirdo.' Yeah, you are a weirdo.

'Mm hm...'

'We can help protect mother nature together, have liberty match, revolutions and even share my seaweed cake and be vegetarians! We could do community...' I don't know where the courage came from, I placed my hand on her head and patted it.

'You know how you said no one wants to be your friend because people think you are weird and you don't know why?'

'Yeah?'

'This is why. Nobody wants to eat seaweed cake or spend time just doing riots or going for protest to protect nature, we all have our lives to live in our own way. To be someone's friend, you need to consider their likes and dislikes as well as putting their wishes in front and not just yours. No one can understand nature like you do, don't force them.' I walked ahead of her, leaving her to gape at me. I easily found my way to my next class.

Lunch period! The canteen was freaking me out! The food being served almost made me puke, I don't understand it but most students enjoyed what they were eating. Who wanna eat rotten flesh or tentacles soup? Who the hell enjoys chocolate liver eyeballs! I don't expect less though, they are monsters. Where do they get the flesh from? Creeps. I sat down and opted for reading, hoping one of Marielle's friends would show up.

Bang!

Someone slammed her hands on my table, making me flinch with a scream. 'Jumpy, I like that,' the heart attacker purred. My chest heaved as I looked at who I suppose would be my bully. 'So, you are mini Elle, huh?' She hissed, baring her fangs at me as her eyes turned yellow. I grabbed a fistful of my jumpsuit and offered her a smirk, remembering what Elle said I should do, never show your fear. She had pixie cut brown hair and rosy cheeks, her fangs were covered with blood as she licked her lips. 'Don't you dare smirk at me you little witch!'

'Witch, I love the sound of that,' I tilted my head, using the intimidating look Elle recently taught me. 'Do you even think of what I am before attacking? I can kill you, you know.'

'Kill me, huh?!' She yelled, her claws growing out. 'Right then, kill me now!' She raised her hand to slice her claws but her hand froze in mid air as someone seized it. I looked at my saviour with a racing heart, Ace. 'Ace darling,' she purred, cocking her hips flirtatiously. 'Nice of you to join us...'

'Cut the act Brigit, I already told you, I don't fuck the same shit twice,' He spat with disgust. 'Especially one that couldn't make me cum once.' She scoffed incredulously and looked at him angrily.

'It's not my fault you don't have balls, a real man would have been able to...'

'Yet the man with no balls made you scream until you passed out, what did you give me in return? Unsatisfaction and irritation. Stick this to your head, you are the worse whore I have ever pounded, get more lessons bitch.' He pushed her away, making her tumble on a chair as everyone laughed. That is a huge embarrassment.

'Curse you Ace,' she sobbed. 'You didn't have to say that out loud, I did my best...'

'Your best was not enough, get out and leave Rinette alone or I will roast that panther beast of yours. Anytime I see you close to her, I'd make sure I send you to Tartarus, okay?' He asked with a menacing smirk. She nodded as she sobbed. 'Scram kitty.' She stood up and sprinted, wailing as she ran off.

'That was mean,' I blunted out. 'Why bring you bed scene out to mock her?'

'Try having the worse fuck of your entire happy sex filled life and see what it does to you, it shatters.'

I rolled my eyes. 'Oh pe-lease, don't be so dramatic about it.'

'She's not even pretty,'

'Yet you went after her, were you blind when you were chasing her.' I snorted derisively, surprise I was having a normal conversation with a male without fretting.

'Note this, I don't chase my prey, they chase me. That's just how I roll.' He said with a flirtatious wink as he brushed off imaginary dust off his shoulder.

'You tried to flirt with me this morning,' I reminded him.

'I wouldn't call that flirting, I would call it hmm...ur...contended compliment,'

'You flirted with an entire hall of girls,'

'I simply winked at them like this,' he winked at me, his wink was different, erotic in a way I don't understand but definitely made me turn crimson. 'See, even you can feel the effect of a single wink. Trust me, when I flirt, you won't remember your senses again. I flirt and they chase, win for me.' I rolled my eyes sheepishly, he was the first guy in my entire life talking to me without force or insults, the first guy treating me like a normal girl.

'I'm hungry but there is no food here to my liking,' I said, changing the topic as I looked around.

'That is because you are in the wrong cafeteria, this one is for full core monsters. There is a cafeteria for creatures that eat normal food at the east wing of the building.'

'And you tell me now! How did you even know I was here?'

'I don't know, my legs dragged me here.' He admitted as he brought out a foil wrapper from his pocket.

'What's that?'

'My lunch, wanna share?' He smirked as he unwrapped it.

'Ew,' I said with disgust. 'Didn't you just bring that out from your pocket?'

'Boxers pocket,' he corrected. I clutched my stomach, suddenly feeling sick. 'You too? It's not that bad. The heat keeps it hot, like a microwave, it's hot.' He grinned as he ate from the burger, I gagged and he laughed, chewing nosily to irritate me.

'Where's my sister?'

'Other cafeteria,'

'With the others?'

'Mmph mmph,' he muffled.

'What?'

'Mmph mmph...'

'Can you not talk with your mouth full?' I snapped. He gulped down what he was eating and licked his lips.

'So, how was life as a human?'

'Hell.'

'Why?'

'If you like being an object of ridicule, sexual harassment and public punching bag, then I guess that would be heaven to you.'

'Hmm, how old are you?'

'I'm not having any further conversation with a guy who just pulled out a burger from his briefs, ew.'

'Yum, yum, yum,' he said, chewing nastily.

'Haven't you heard of hygiene!'

'No, did you make that up?'

'Ace,' I whined.

'Babe, my own boxers, remember?'

'You can die.'

'Vampire, not that easy to kill.'

'And so fucking what! Don't eat boxers food, that is disgusting!'

'Blah blah,' he said making duck mouth gestures. 'You nag like my mother. Geez! Women and their commands and care.'

'Don't eat such or else,'

'Or else what? You will nag like Elle always do? I've heard her yell about this all my life so nothing changes.'

'Ace, your h...' He wiped his hands on the thigh of my jumpsuit. My eyes twitched. 'Are you that dirty or just trying to annoy me?'

'Both.' He grinned.

'And ladies throw themselves on a pig like you?'

He snorted like one and winked at me again. 'All for the dick...'

'How do they even suck your dirty thing!'

'Wanna find out?' He asked with a suggestive wiggle of his brows.

'Ew! Gross!'

'I don't know why you see it as dirtiness, I wash my briefs every week.'

'How many times a week?'

'One, why?'

'Ace!'

'Geez woman,' he groaned, massaging his temples. 'It's not like I'm going to die of boxers poisoning...'

'That can happen you know.'

'Again, vampire.' He said mirthlessly.

'Flaming freak, different from vampire dickhead.' I scoffed.

'Oh yeah?'

'Yeah, there is no way I will believe that you are a vampire when you are a fire...aaaaaaaaaaah!' I screamed as he was suddenly pinning me to the table. He bared out his fangs at me and hissed, showing me his lava colored fangs. Everything about him was extraordinary! 'Hey! Let go!' I choked as he clutched my throat tight.

'Believe me now?'

'You are hurting m...' Ace was yanked away from me as he came face to face with an annoyed Elle, her eyes glowing with a mixture of red and emerald.

'Oh, hi Elle.' He said grinningly.

'What are you doing Ace? Hurting my sister!'

'I was showing her I was a vampire, chill.'

'He-pig!' Gomez shouted, giving his head a head. He whimpered and sat back on the chair as Elle glared at him.

'Elle, you know I would never hurt her, we were having an...'

'He ate boxers burger,' I said frowningly, sitting up on the table.

'Don't be surprise, he eats anything as long as his teeth are still working. One time, Dermot choked and vomited on his fries, Ace ate it.'

'Ew! Ace!' I shouted.

'Whaaaat, no food is to be wasted on my watch.' He said dramatically. I cringed and gagged again.

'His appetite is as large as his...'

'Dinger!' Ace cut in enthusiastically.

'You are such a man whore Ace, quit it.'

'And go reverend father like you, never! I still wonder why you suddenly stopped enjoying the free donations, ever since you met that green tea of yours...'

'She is not a green tea!' Gomez snapped.

'How was classes?' Elle asked softly.

'Difficult, confusing, scary but I scaled through.'

'You will get use to it like I did,'

'Didn't you know about who you were the whole time?'

'I did, since I was able to differentiate between right from wrong. I just chose to act like I didn't. Dad made sure I got high training. I am educated beyond my age about a lot of myths, one of the reasons Dermot's father loves me.'

'And your dad, is he single?'

'Not really, his wife hates me so I try my best to stay away for the sake of his marriage,' she said nonchalantly as she stirred her smoothie. 'You are in the wrong side of the building.'

'Yeah, I'm starving...'

'...At least I actually have someone to stalk and have the pleasure of masturbating about, what do you have, leftover whores to open their legs for you.' Gomez huffed with red face, he was furious and I knew Ace was pushing him.

'Pup, that makes no sense. Why masturbate when you can have the real deal.' Ace smirked, enjoying Gomez's torture.

'I don't blame you, you are hopeless...'

'Hopelessly in need to fuck a bitch...'

'Oh Ace,' Elle sighed sympathetically.

'Yes Ri...' He froze, his eyes widening. He shut his eyes and sniffed the air. He let out a moan as he stood up. 'Bake beans...' He kept sniffing.

'Vampires eat food too? Like all of them?'

'They are partially human so yes. Although, if theny aren't raised to eat food, they won't take anything other than blood. Food don't usually taste that good to us or nourish their body in anyway, it doesn't satisfy them but they do eat it to look more human and for appetizer.' Elle explained.

Ace climbed Gomez's shoulders as he sniffed more, Gomez couldn't push him off. 'Ace! Get off!'

'Ace however, enjoys food more than blood – fuck me – the guy will die without eating in a day yet go without blood for years.'

'Maybe it is his fire normal side?' I asked, looking at Ace who was now climbing on a huge cyclops as he continued to sniff.

'Definitely.' Gomez sighed.

'Is he some kind of werewolf too?' I chuckled.

'Nope!' Elle popped. 'Just blessed with a smelling ability as strong as an omega wolf.'

'Wow,' I breathe.

'Fried chicken...toast...fries...mash potatoes...'

'There's no food Ace can't smell out. His tracking via smell is only extremely strong when it comes to food...'

'Corn!!!!!!' Ace shouted at the top of his voice and within a blink of an eye, he was gone, whooping as he ran with his speed. I smiled from ear to ear, something turning in my heart.

'I better go make sure he doesn't try to eat Mrs Cornbridge again,' Elle sighed, standing up.

'And make sure he doesn't take a bite of Miss Cupcake's head again.' Gomez added. She gasped and ran out, screaming Ace's name. Gomez took my hand with one and packed my books with the others. He offered me a small smile before gently pulling me along.

I didn't need anyone to tell me that my time in Twilight Castle would be phenomenon.
