I have always had the idea that ghosts do not exist, that they are in your mind, and that writers take advantage of the fear that most people have about ghosts, to write their horror novels.
When you are little, you hear many stories, that we are curious to ask if those stories are true or not.
And when we ask our parents or any adult if those stories are true, they laugh, I think they laugh out of nerves because they don't know what to respond to when we are curious.
There are adults who, for not knowing what to respond, decide to punish us, which, I have always found it an injustice that they do this to us.
On the one hand, there is a small percentage of adults who simply decide to be upset with us, not to answer any of our questions.
Also, adults instill fear in us children, telling us not to see anything of terror because we would be opening the door to hell, and all the evil that is contained in that door would come out to do its thing.
