EPILOGUE

JANE POV

THREE YEARS LATER.

The sun was shining brightly from the window casting orange glint on our wedding picture. Three years had been the best of my life, Marcus and I were married and it was the most memorable moment of my life.

"Mummy, mummy?" The tiny voice of Sofia brought me back from my thoughts. "Baby what the matter?" I asked softly, lowering down to her level. "Where is daddy? We need to take sunshine to the hospital because he is sick," she said tremendously, letting out her fear of losing the one person she plays with.

I couldn't help but giggle. "Sofia, sunshine also sleeps just like you do. He also needs some sleep," it was a beautiful feeling and I wanted to keep all this stored in my memory. "Why don't you wait downstairs for your daddy while hastening up with my cooking?" I asked and she adjusted herself as Nanny Esther helped her adjust on the dining chair.

The sun was setting a really beautiful glow as Nanny Esther helped me set the table. Everything was perfect with everybody. I have been married to Marcus for Two years now and still know this is the life I want. I know he still did the dirty work of his father, and being a Mafia was a dangerous thing but I hoped someday he would focus more on his business in Chicago.

I dropped Sofia meal in front of her as she wiggled her head. "What is it, baby?" I asked softly. "I want to wait for daddy?" she said, making me smile.

I loved Marcus more because he now paid more attention to Sofia. He took care of her like his biological daughter, Sofia was always happy to be around him.

I was still in my thoughts when a knock came on the door. "Sofia waits for me here," I said, going to get the door. "Who is it?" I asked but got no answer.

Should I open the door or not? I decided to open the door but who I saw almost popped my eyes out of their socket.

The fact that I was surprised was minor, I was shocked. Scared, and horrified.

"Noah?"
