After class, I quickly tried to exit before Max or Travis had the opportunity to stop me. What I didn't expect was Kim and Sarah to be waiting for me outside of the school. 


"Marissa!" Kim chirped, surging forward and grabbing me in a hug. "About time you finished!" 


"What are you doing here?" I asked, trying to breath. One thing I had to give Kim, despite her size, she was strong. "Did something serious happen?" 


"Sure." Kim responded, finally letting go. "You are having issues with suddenly changing and blacking out. Due to that, Sarah and I have decided we will be your personal guards. " 


Personal guards? Did I hear her right just now? 


Flinching, I didn't bother turning around as an arm slung around my shoulders. Turning, I glared at Max. 


"Who are these two ladies?" Max asked as if he could see Sarah and Kim. 


"Sure you're blind?" I asked once again, doubting it.
