Travis watched as I collected my clothes from the ground and got dressed. We had already spent long enough in the infirmary, and I just knew my family would eventually come hunting us down. Not wanting any trouble, I had no interest in being found straddling Travis while completely naked, so I managed to get up and get dressed. 


"Are you sure you don't want me to join you?" Travis asked now as he grabbed the door and began to pull. "You don't have to face them alone, you know." 


"This is a family affair. It is better if I handle it alone." I sighed, running a hand through my hair. "I'll come find you as soon as I'm done, alright?" 


"Deal! " Travis murmured, leaning down and giving me a quick kiss. 


Stepping aside, he held the door open for me so that I could exit first and then he followed behind.
